They've just LEFT him there?
That's not acceptable.
You need to get the number for Swift, and you need to call your family doctor. Then your family doctor needs to call Swift and tell them that he's calling to find out what's happening with his patient, who he's just been informed has a broken leg.
It would be even better if you know any attorneys to have THEM call up and ask what's happening about his on the job broken leg, too.
If his leg is in need of a specialist, rather than a cast? There are all KINDS of potential complications. Maybe I'm an alarmist, but I paid for my college education working as a hospital file clerk, and I've seen a lot of files with a lot of complications that wouldn't have happened had someone been seen in a timely fashion.
Start harrassing people. This is a Workman's Comp injury, and everything should be covered by Swift's insurance--and if they're going to let him sit there in the hotel without treatment or painkillers, I think that reasonably should include your husbands per diem costs.
