hello everyone! i just found this site and thought id join! i have a great dane named malakai along with a treeing walker hound named chloe. i thought what better place to come talk about my big dog than a site called big paws only! ;D my dane is a 7 month old black male. aww your dogs beautiful! i wish there were more danes malakais age around us theres a few that come to the park that are older, but id love for malakai to have a playmate his own age...time to get another one i suppose lol :)

Welcome! My parents have a rescued Treeing Walker Hound named Belle. She was at our shelter here in Louisiana. I sent my dad a picture and they drove down from Omaha, NE to adopt her (well, they were coming here anyway, but made it a point to meet her when they got here). She is more brown, though - looks like a tall, lanky beagle.
