That stuff is expensive.  I'd hate to put regular peanut butter in there...but cheeze whiz might work.  :)

I use peanut butter, cheeze whiz, and can dog food.  I add dry dog food and just top it off with the good stuff.  Can cheese soup works if you freeze it.

We've used Peanut Butter, Dog food, and you can buy Kong filler at any pet store.  It comes in different flavors.

I tried peanut butter and when I tossed it, it all just came out on the floor, splat.  Bava liked that trick though.

I bet he wanted you to do that trick again.  How is the new boy doing?

I use Peanut Butter, and I get a couple of different treats and break them up and throw them in there. :)

we have a large size kong (not the huge giant one) and regular old milk bones fit perfectly in there.  If you get the small to medium sized milkbones the 2 of them fit in the kong.  Sophie will work on the kong for a good long time trying to get them out.  Its great for keeping her occupied.

Oh and peanut butter is good too  :)

He frustrates us to no end :) But the two boys love each other to death so I think we're stuck with the stinker now.

I use peanut butter and break up treats with it then I freeze it. This way it takes longer for Kiah to lick it out or it would be gone within five minutes. I fill the kong up before bed and freeze it over night. That way when I'm gone in the mornings she has some entertainment.

The Freezer! We gotta try that now.

Wonder if I should try some of the regular things he likes to eat, bits of kitchen sponge, some cat litter, bird seed, leaves , and odd bits of wood..  ;)

Some people think White Widow is the best, but I prefer Northern Lights......  Oh, you said KONG filler.  Whoops!   ;D

I've heard that Peanut Butter is really good to use, we've tried some of that Natures Pride stuff, that's packed in those Jimmie Dean sausage-like tubes.  That all works good, the problem is it gets all nasty and moldy if you don't clean it out right away.  We haven't had much luck with Kongs, Drake prefers Soccer balls and Basketballs, so we stopped using them.

I put the kongs in the dishwasher after they are done with it.

I've tried putting dog cookies in kongs, cheese bits, and making kong peanut-butter popsicles, but zoey just doesn't like them. She has trouble getting the treats out, so she gets bored quickly and just gives up - she is such a quitter...

But zoey LOVES her UFO thing (the same one jen posted). We can open and close it to the right size, and it is challenging for her, but not so challenging that is frustrates her. We'll put in cookie bits, but her very very favorite is when we leftover steak  (I put them one or two little chunks at a time and refill it when she gets them out).
