I have found my big dogs to be slower to react agressively than many smaller breeds, but to require a strong understanding of their place in the house in order to be under control at all times.

I totaly agree with stella! my boys are totaly wonderfull with the kids, Max checks on Brett (6 month old baby) when he's fussing, and puts up with Ashton (my 2 year old) combing his furr and 'painting his nails' and other stuff.
yup, look for yourself, i think they're adorable together.

do you have dog warning signs up on your fence? even if they are unnecessary they might turn the kids off from messing with the pack.

ok here's the plan.... you and Darcy need to get 2 high powered paintball guns and ammo. crawl ontop of your house and have a stake out....bring food, I dont know how long youll be up there. when any twerp gets in range FIRE!!! that will take care of your 'infestation' problem.

hang in there, i can tell from the pics you've posted that the pain is totaly worth the happy life she's living with you. just make sure and get lots of pics, cuz once it's over and they're grown, you wont get to go back. she'll be there quick, trust me. she has the bestest family, and realisticly time flies, and she'll be a big girl! a pretty one too! (esp with her new collar
