Greta enjoying the back yard
« on: September 14, 2006, 09:29:42 am »
Greta enjoys stretching out in the cool grass, but only if me (or Au) accompany her. She sniffs the air and looks up at the sky. If it's night, she appears to be scanning the universe, noticing stars and other galaxies. If it's day, she follows the paths of birds or planes that glide overhead.
I think dogs are the most amazing creatures; they give unconditional love.  For me they are the role model for being alive.  ~Gilda Radner

...more. All shot over the last weekend.

The second photo is just one example of how Greta is entertained; she has her own court jester.

Despite the cancer, Greta still takes time to smell the roses. It looks like she is going to sneeze in this photo, but she doesn't. I will say, though, that the rose wilted and died after she smelled it. We laughed and told her it was her breath, but that it is perfectly OK.

Sounds like she has her priorities straight - the best place to be is with her people ;)  Great pics!
