well i know alot of you have PMed me and contacted me about memphis, and im not going to be posting here often anymore, however, i thought i'd give you all an update on memphis...
We had memphis examined and the vet said there was something wrong with his back end- obviously! we showed him the hard time memphis has walking, getting up, laying down, turning around, etc. the vet pin pointed it to the spine towards his back end... we had him xrayed today, and his back and hips were perfect. so its either in his neck or its neurological, in his spinal cord, or his brain. we, however, do not have anyone who does those types of tests in our area, so we are unsure now what to do. the vet gave us more meds to try him on and we will see how he takes to it. however he is still getting much worse...

I am sorry to hear theat Memphis is still not doing well. Have you tired a chiropractor? We have Titan going to regular appointments and he has very much improved!! Maybe it a pinched nerve or something. Could be worth a try.
Hopeing he feels better soon....big hugs and kisses :-*

I hope that you guys can find a solution for the big guy and shows some improvement soon.

We dont have anything like that in our area. we are pretty far from most decent vets, anything along those lines, at least a 5 hour drive or so...

we have a rehab specialist, but she cant pinpoint what is wrong. however, the breeder believes its a small form of wobblers...

whatever you decide to do, I hope it works out for the best. I know it's frustrating. Maybe you just need a little time to think about or find all your options. Hope you feel better soon, pup.

oh and i wanted to let you all know he went from 190something pounds down to 164....
-
oh wow that is a huge weight loss, I wish I had an answer or the right words for you and the pup. Just know that you guys are in my thoughts.

If you guys have a local chiropractor in your area maybe they could go with you on the visit and learn how to do it. It would probably improve their business and help you out too. Sure hope you guys can get some answers. That is a huge weight loss!! Poor baby hope he can get better soon.

I do have a list of Chiroprators in Ontario would you like me to PM them to you? Maybe you can find one close by.... :)

i thank you all for your love and support. We still dont know what to do right at this time. we have given memphis some more meds to hope it helps, however, i am leaning towards possible wobblers... what ive been reading on it, and what his breeder says (and she thinks its wobblers too) it sounds pretty close. he, however, does not sway too bad when hes walking but he does have a bit of sway. its really difficult to explain...

I dont know much about wobblers is it curable?
Again I am really sorry to hear about this it must be very painful for you and your family.... your in my thoughts.
