« on: August 16, 2008, 11:56:14 am »yup, I would say an american eskimo mix. His paws do look too small for a giant breed pup. And american eskimos come in 3 sizes so you could end up with a mid sized dog........... ..on short legs.......... .lol.
That's what I'm thinking! LOL!

Wow, you don't see any Pyr? He looks just like most of the puppy pics I've seen online. I'll have to get a better shot of his face and compare with a Pyr pup from the 'net.

I have already posted about my new baby, Casper! I'm trying to decide if he is a Pyrenees mix or not. He sure looks like all the baby pics I've seen online and his markings meet the description as well. I do feel that he is a mix,as he has very short legs! Because he might not technically qualify as a BIG PAW for the forum, I thought I better also introduce my BIG BOY, Bear!

I have no idea what he is but he's cute. How little is he? I agree with the corgi mix. Maybe Samoyed and Corgi?

Thank you for the nice comments! I never thought about a Corgi mix in him. That most certainly is a possibility! Well, if he doesn't get very big, then he might not qualify to stay on this forum!

Thank you for the replies! Here is another picture of Casper. You can see his paws a bit better here. He has no dew claws on his back legs. I believe I read somewhere that Pyrs have 2 on the back? His back legs are so short you almost can't even really straighten them out to find a dew claw! LOL! I swear his back legs are like bassett legs or something. Poor widdle mixed up boy!
