Zoe is just crashed out so she can grow. She loves to lounge around when she is not chewing on things.

We just started giving Greenies to our dogs and they love them but sometimes after they eat them they get so wound up. Is there some sort of crack cocaine (just kidding) in them like there is in catnip that makes them do this? How many of these should we be giving our dogs? We are giving them each one a day.

I live in the perfect place. San Diego. 10 minutes from the beach an hour and a half to ski. 45 minute flight to vegas. Sunny all the time who could ask for more!!! All I can ask for is a bigger house closer to the beach and a golf course. Life is good.

I am glad that I am not the only one that thinks the dogs should be treated equally. I would prefer that they both stay on the floor on their doggy beds. Especially since our OEM will probably weigh in at around 185 lbs. I also don't like sharing my bed with anyone except my wife. Thanks everyone.

My wife and I own two dogs. Hers (Bichon Frise) she owned the dog before we were married, and Ours (Old English Mastiff). Her dog gets to sit on the couch, sleep in our bed, and basically goes anywhere she wants. Our OEM is a puppy and we are training her. My wife does not want her on our couches, chairs or bed. I tell my wife we either need to let her do all of those things since her dog does or we need to train the Bichon to not get on any of the furniture. I feel that this is a fair option what does everyone out there think. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. I just want an even playing field for both of our dogs. My OEM can't understand why the Bichon can go onto the couch and she can't. Any suggestions???

Do you crate train your dog? Our trainer says that if you crate train the dog you can put them in their crates 10 minutes before you leave they will get used to it and when you come home don't take them out for at least 10 minutes it will break them of the separation anxiety. Try it. It works with my OEM.

Any breeder who truly believes in breeding and the betterment of the breed should stand behind their product and either take the dog back and refund the money or pay for the surgery. You should always obtain a reciept for your purchases so you can have proof of payment in case you have to sue.

My trainer is a client of mine. He comes every week for an hour and a half per visit and charges $50 per visit. I have done research into these doggy boot camps where they actually take your dog for 5-8 weeks to train them and then bring them back ready to go. These ranged from $1400-2500 per dog so we opted not to do it. That was more than the cost of my OEM. My trainer is pretty strict with the dog and I love it he always stresses that we are in charge and they need to obey. Good luck. Here is a picture of my daughter making the dog work for her, and she is only 14 months old. Our trainer taught us how to get the dog to listen to her too.

We had that insurance through Petco for our Bichon but it didn't cover anything. She had bladder stones and a torn ACL and it didn't pay for either one so we ended up spending $4000 on the two surgeries. I hope what we have now is better.

What kind of dog insurance does everyone have? We are currently covered undet the AKC health insurance and one other that I can't remember right now. I just wanted to know what everyone's experience has been and which one was good since I am in the insurance business.

Her dog Zoe kicked her out of her favorite chair. Anyone else's dog do this?

Grumpy, my Zoe's are razor sharp. I just hope that the healing process when we do have them removed goes well. I wish our breeder would have just done it. Did you go to OTL this weekend?

People have them removed because they get caught on things and are very sharp
