Oh yes we have some variety here. Tuggles is the only one of my Pyrs that will wink. He has grown up so much and it hardly seems possible that he is already 10 months old. Tuggles was neutered last friday and he is really doing well, now for the hormones to dissapate.
Dakota is probably about 8. She became mine when I found out that her family had moved out of the house and left her and another Pyr to fend for themselves. An elderly neighbor took one of the Pyrs and I took Dakota. She was a mess, covered in sarcoptic mange and matted up. I think that the neighbor was afraid that she was more than he was ready to handle with the health and skin issues. Now she is the beautiful devoted old lady. I hope that I have many more years with her.
I have some acreage and a large house and thats why I am able to have all of them. Trust me, we never go on vacation or stay away from home for long periods of time, but I think that the trade off is well worth the sacrifice.
I am hoping that we have no more 90 degree days for the rest of the year.
