BPO Rescue
« on: July 21, 2005, 10:52:24 am »
We should form our own BPO no profit rescue organization.  With all the contacts we have and all the locations we are in we could do some major work.  I don't have a lot of time to dedicate to it but I would do what I could to help.

What do you guys think?
Thanks,

Emily and 1 husband, 1 boy, 1 on the way, and 4 crazy dogs

I don't know what the ins and outs of putting something like that together are, but if it ever did come together, I would love to help out...

That is a tremendouly awesome idea! I am getting so frustrated with the exclusive politics of my local rescue right now, anyway! Count me IN!!

Count me in too. I dont know how far you are in the planning of it Jabas, but whatever help you might need, well you know where to find me. Yeah, thats right, right here on your board hehe

There will be a few red tape stuff and quite a bit of organization and planning, but definately something that is a doable and great thing to do.

Hey, great idea!!!!

I helped a lady get a rescue together in North Carolina. A big part of it is getting the 501-3(c). (Tax exempt status) But, I think that in order to get that, you have to submit like, detailed plans and stuff.

I am, of course. SO IN.
