Many years ago my grandmother received 2 porcelein dolls for X-mas that were custom made & supposed to look like Grandpa & her...Grandpa had passed on earlier that same yr...Well, the dolls were very expensive & also very ugly & looked nothing like Grandpa & Grandma & they became a family joke...Well, when Grandma passed on in 2004 all I asked for were those dolls because we had all laughed at them so much!...I got the dolls & put them in my dining room where they sat together on a little wooden bench...Grandm
a loved dogs but hated cats but she did think all animals belonged outside...She & grandpa farmed & to them animals just belonged outside...She never got to meet Samson but I always thought she would have loved him until today that is...Sammy was playing his usual chase me around the dining room table because I am not going back into my allowed area & I watched him LIFT HIS LEG & PEE ALL OVER MY GRANDMA DOLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...This is a dog who can go easily 10 hours plus & not make any move to go out to potty & resists when you try to make him...He does not have accidents in the house EVER!!!!!...It must have been because my sister's dogs were here overnight...Th
ankfully he only got her dress & bloomers & not the cloth body...I can just hear Grandma now though, "I TOLD YOU ANIMALS BELONGED OUTSIDE DEAR"!!!
