Kiah is doing much better this morning. I feel so bad for her though. She keeps looking at her food bowl then at me. I know she's hungry because she chewed up my daughters shoe. She's never chewed up anything before. Thank you all for your support. I was going crazy!

Glad she is feeling better. It is scary when they are not feeling well.

rhe only thing i know about parvo is that cody had it.  he was 9 months old....was an indoor dog with a yard of his own....hadn't been around other dogs since he was a pup in school.....one day he puked.  about 2 hour later he puked again.  an hour later again, 30 minutes again, we gave him an ice chunk, he puked when he licked it.....then he ran to the front and shot poo out his butt like a hose.....he rush him to the ER, and it was parvo.  the poo turned into strictly BLOOD that was shooting out of his butt, up to 3 feet....and he puked blood as well.  it took a week to just gwet him under control....ano ther week to take home.....and about 2 weeks of nothing to make sure he was okay......but that was after thousands of dollars of vet bills!  nasty thing, but im glad he made it!

Glad Kiah is feeling better!
Its hard making the decision to go to the vet or not. Over the years I have built a good repor with my vet, over 20 years. When I have a problem I'll call & he'll coach me over the phone or I'll go there. If Im just going for shots or something simple I don't care who sees them. If I have a serious problem I only will see Dr.Andresen or Dr.Timpone.

Kiah is all better now. I started slowly giving her food today and she kept it down. I'm happy to have a healthy dog again. :)
