Does anyone have any recommendation s on high quality canned/wet dog food and where I might be able to get it? Rosie was on satin balls for awhile to urge her to eat after the bone plate on her right knee (from TPLO surgery last year) was removed, since she was resisting everything else we put in front of her and would not eat. Now we're having some difficulty getting her back to her usual dry kibble. So we're easing her into it with some wet canned food. Any recommendation s would be appreciated.

What brand do you want to feed her? I've used Canidae ALS wet and Innova wet but I have to get them from different kennels in Houston. I can get Merrick from my local feed store and I get Blue Buffalo wet from Petsmart. My dogs have done the best on the Canidae ALS and the Blue Buffalo wet food. I mix it with their Innova dry. Hope that helps you out some.

Yep, wellness makes a canned wet food and I think petco carries it now. Atleast I saw online that they do.

I try to stick with the can food that goes with the dry food I am feeding. So if feeding say CN Lamb & Rice Dry I would buy CN Lamb & Rice canned.

We had good luck with Merrick Brand they come in about a billion different flavours. When we went on hoildays and friends looked after Titan a little scoop on his food every meal time urged him to eat. He was lonely! :) Good Luck

My dogs also LOVE Merrick canned food--they like the grain free wellness canned food as well. :)

Thanks for the recommendation s.

Rosie's actually on a Royal Canin dry kibble urinary diet prescribed by the vet. We thought the vet was closed all this week for 4th of July, and would have to get 'over-the-counter' wet food. It turns out the vet's open and we were able to get some canned urinary food for her.
