Is anyone here planning to attend the AKC sighthound specialty show in Lompoc, California on July 27? I will be attending for the first time. With any luck next year I'll have my own hound :D

Well, the Lompoc show was a week ago now.... I had a wonderful time! A beautiful location and met so many wonderful Borzoi people. I took over 100 photos, after my digital camera's battery recharges I'll load them onto one of my online photo albums. The breeder I've been on a waiting list for a pup from let me know the mating didn't work :( I did meet a couple other breeders who have litters planned for later this year, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Luckily I don't carry my "puppy fund" with me since another breeder brought four 12-week-old male pups who were all available. They were all evaluated as show-quality though, so I just enjoyed getting my puppy fix :D

I like sight hounds too. Good luck on finding that perfect pup. Hard to resist when they are a puppy...
