Found this site and I thought I'd pass it along. This is the cheapoest I have seen replacement Biodegradeable pooh bags. ;)

I'm a real cheapskate and I just buy nappy sacks - a quid for a hundred. They're the ideal size and have tie handles at the top. In fact, the nappy sacks at my supermarket are identical in every way to the doggie poop bags on sale there, apart from the colour and the scent (black/lemon for doggies, peach/baby powder for babies.

I used to do that, but I got sick of getting poop on my hands from the little holes they punch in the bottom of the bags so that toddler can't suffocate themselves. ;D

I use a shovel & re-use grocery bags, never saw holes in them, thats interesting.

I buy the refills that go in the plastic barrel thing. I always keep one or two in my pocket or billfold, and a bunch in my car. I've given them to people at obedience class who didnt have anything to use. They're pretty cheap, and big enough to clean up the job that my dogs leave behind!

Grocery Bags don't Bio-Degrade in our liftime. and to carry 2 in your pocket requires large pockets. I just find these handy to have in the car or camper, or in the pocket on those longer walks where 1 grocery bag just might not be enough.
Oh and Wal Mart bags have never been cheap for me? Usually I find they cost in excess of a mortgage per trip to the store, but then again they are full when I get them ;-)

i use these too, and i have the little carrier that attaches to the leash. it was given to me free at a doggie event by a group called bags on board. it is very convenient.
We allso jsut carry the refills ones around with us.
i wonder if they are biodegradable?

They use these bags at all our off leash parks in the city. They are very handy.

I'm in England so maybe it's not something they do in the USA? Here they punch 4 holes in the bottom just like it's been done with a paper punch.

Well I have never seen them hole punched, but they do always have holes and tears in them, which is why I buy bags instead of reusing the grocery ones (I still reuse them, but for something else)

Anyone ever heard of "Bags on Board"? Best thing I've come across. Little hydrant attaches to your flexi leash, doesn't weigh even a pound. Refill bags are very cheap (and of course) biodegradable. ..

yeah, those are the ones i was talking about. I am soo happy to hear they are biodegradable.
