Hi, I was just wondering who the BIGGEST dog in the group was? Has BPO ever done a weigh in? Or what about the tallest or longest? That would be fun to know!!!

It's deffinately not Zoey. We keep her small because of her bad hips - she's only 105 :o

It's not Chester either...he's only about 110 lbs. Cowboy was 148 lbs this week...but I know there are much bigger guys out there!

Great idea! It's not Zoey...she's only 85 pounds at 17 months old! And not Dolly; she's 121 pounds at 15 months old.

Willow is a svelte 105 @ 10 months so I know she isn't the largest. I try and keep Willow as light as possible even though genetically she'll probably be on the large side for a female mastiff. I don't know her height, but I know the danes in the group would DEFINITELY be taller than any of the other dogs on here.

Hutch weighs in at 194.8lbs, but I know that he doesn't take the cake, Buddy the Load weighs in more than he does! We keep Hutch trim too, but he is really tall for a Saint at 34 inches at the shoulder.

Gunther doesn't even come close at 120lbs. He's only average for height as well at 35".

194! Sheesh! You all are very humble! But I want to read the weights of the so-called big boy...
I can't imagine how fast Adi is going to grow and gain weight. I took him to the groomers today for the second time and the lady who worked on him two weeks ago was amazed at how fast he is growing. I personally can't see it! I should start a growth photo set like some of you have done...
Adi gets his next weigh in next week. At 13 weeks, he was 28lbs. So at 17 weeks, we'll see.

Teddy weighs in at 110# at 7 months. I think he's gonna be a big boy (but I don't think he'l be as much as Gershwin the Saint - he's still a pup and he's HUGE!! LOL!)

Well Fumble doesn't way as much as Hutch, but he does way in around 185lb, at 1 yr and three weeks.. So im not sure if that counts.. I definalty think that FUmble May have the biggest Paws, and we missed that contest a while ago! I would love to see more pictures of Hutch though!

Lets see... Imani at 2 1/2 is about 210 lbs; Frankie at 1 year is about 174, and is super tall for a girl puppy; Jesse is only about 125 right now, but he is a good 50 lbs heavier than when he came to us in May so malnourished.

It's not my Bubba.. I have a heck of a time keeping weight on him though. He's 18 months old, 32 inches tall and about 130-140. Definitely not over 140. I'm curious to see what he weighs after he's filled out.
Lola is 4 and a half months old and just over 50 pounds. I've never measured her height though.
Lola actually weighs more than Bubba did at her age but she's shorter.

Not Bear that is for sure. He is not very tall and weighs 150-155 lbs. (depending on the day). ;D

Who is Buddy the Load? Buddy as in Buddy, Matilda, and Lucy?
Well, Sadie and Riley are out, though perhaps Riley may get close one day... Sadie's 21" tall and 60 pounds. She's on the smaller end for a female lab. Riley's almost 31" tall (it's hard to measure him by myself, so I marked the wall-not sure how accurately I did it, though), and I think he's about 130 now (at almost 14 months). His dad is 185, so I figure he'll probably get close to that. His mom is 135, so he's almost there already.

Man I would love to see one of those tall Saint Bernards in person!!! The Saints I have seen have been less than 30 inches.
We need some stats on The Load. Holly, where are you? ;)

LMAO! Sorry about the cake Buddy ;). But now that Imani's weight is posted Buddy doesn't have to worry, Imani has just over 15lbs on Hutch. And Fumble...well weighing in like he does at his age, he may be the King in a few short months!
It isn't unusual to have a Saint over 30 inches, especially for males. The standard is a minimum of 27 and a half inches, and of course females are a little smaller. It's funny, I have had so many people say that they didn't know Saints got that big, I know that Hutch is a big boy but as far as large males go, they get bigger.

Our Saint Harley weighs in at around 185 pounds. He is extra tall for a Saint though. He should probably loose about 5 pounds.

defintaly not my 2..Chloe dosent even come close..and Malakai is 136lbs and 34" at 1 years old..hes obviously not not full grown, but im not expecting him to be more than 150-160lbs

I measured Molly and she was 33 inches. I'm not sure how much she wieghs but I will know tomorrow, i'll get her wiehgted while she is at the groomers. I did not realize she was that tall.

Wow! It's amazing how varied in size our dogs can be. Brutus is definitly not the biggest either. At 17 months he is 135lbs-140lbs. I'm not sure how tall he is though. How do I measure his height? Is it the floor to his hindquarters? shoulder?

Feste isn't the biggest weight-wise at at between 120-130 lbs, but he's probably among the tallest on the site; about 36" at the withers and about 46-48 inches at the top of his head. He's 6'4" standing on his hind legs.
Chance has the weight to be a contender, between 150 and 160 lbs (they haven't been on the truck scales since January), but he's about a foot shorter than Feste and only 5'6" on his hind legs :D . This pictures about a year old, they have both filled out quite a bit since than.

I think Buddy is one of,(if not THE) biggest dogs on BPO. Tenchi might be close heightwise, since he is 38" at the shoulders. However his heaviest was only around 165 and after him being sick I believe he was down to 150 when I picked him up yesterday(poor honey :-\).

It's from the shoulder.. Top of the shoulder blade to the floor.

Holy cow, and I thought Laika was going to get huge! Our breeder estimated that she'd top out at about 170-190 lb. Right now she's just over 80 lb...and I just discovered another downside to having a huge dog...spaying costs!!! Our vet estimated it'll cost about $415!! Ah!!

Drake is just a little Newf, weighing in at a meager 130 lbs. But we prefer him that way. If any of you remember though, we did do a "Big Paw" contest and it was a 3 way tie between Drake, Bear and Ruckus with all their paws measuring in at 4 in. Angus is no where close to the biggest, he's around 125 now at 15 months, BUT I think his paws have hit the 4" width!!!!! :D
