Hi Everyone,
I don't know that I even posted anything about it but thursday feb 9th was my birthday. It was the first time in 3 yrs that my husband was actually going to be home on my b-day and Valentines day. I was really excited about it. Well he forgot. Didn't do anything, didn't say anything about it. I was hurt and a little mad and honestly wanted to kill him. Well yesterday he had the day off and told me that he wanted to go for a ride in the car I thought ok. So we loaded baby Makaylee up in her seat, and off we went. Well what was suppose to be a 3 hr drive turned into a 5 hr drive because of traffic. Well, we got to this ladies house, and we were greated by a very large fawniquin(sp?) great dane. He was gorgeous. Then we were greeted by a lady with a silver merle great dane puppy that had a happy birthday ribbon on. She handed me the puppy and I cried. I have been looking for either a silver merle, or a harlequin since I lost my Tonka in September. I haven't found any in Arizona and if I did I couldn't afford the high prices. It turns out my husband has a friend he works with whose parents had a litter of great danes and they had a silver merle. They worked out a deal with my hubby. We got home late last nite, and Brody and him have been playing nonstop. The lady had been calling him Bullet, but we changed his name to Luke because we got him up by Luke Air Force base. He is such a sweetie. He has HUGE paws and was a lot bigger than his brother and sister that they had left. I love him to death. Luke LOVES Makaylee and tried the entire ride home to get in her carseat with her, and every sound she makes he is right there. It is really cute. His coloring is beautiful as he is a silver merle but has fawn in him. It almost makes him look dirty. A lot of his grey spots are actually brindle looking. Hes beautiful. Pictures don't do him justice but I know that you guys will want them. So I've posted a few that the lady had sent to my husband. Well I have to go I will chat with you all later. I guess my husbands not so bad after all
