Hi all. Well... I was all excited about going to get a great dane tomorrow. I was warned on another discussion about the rescue I was going to. I did reasearch online and the stories are horrible. I don't know how much of it is true, but my husband and I don't want to risk it.
So, now my husband and I are looking to rescue a great dane in southern california. Does anyone have any recommendation s? (BTW, we were giong to adopt from Gentle Giants in Norco.)
So. Any ideas?
I saw on petfinder.com that there is a rescue, Indian Dane Rescue in San Marcos. Does anyone know anything about that?

Sorry I don't have any suggestions for you, but I am glad that you are not going with GG, I have heard such horrible stories about them too. I know that there are several people here form California, so I am sure they will give you some ideas. Good luck!! My brother has a dane and I just love her she is such a goof it's funny, and she is so gentil.
