Sewing Dog Clothes - Arms in particular
« on: December 25, 2006, 07:24:01 am »
Hi there,

I got a sewing machine for my birthday and I was hoping to make my baby girl a few new dresses.  My mother was a wonderful seamstress and taught me much of what I know.  However, she's not with me anymore and I can't ask for her wisdom on this.

Please help if there's an easier way to make armholes!  I'm cutting the hole, cutting "tick" marks, pressing them and sewing them down.  Seems so messy and time consuming.  Please help if you know anything about this.  Thank you for your time and attention to my question.

Have you ever tried the iron on tape instead of sewing the little points down?
