Petfinder Dream Dog
« on: September 22, 2005, 10:05:01 am »
Anyone remember this? ;D
Basically you go on petfinder, look up the dogs, find the ones you would love to adopt, and post those on here!
*Remember this game could end up with a new addition!*

How do you get your pics to post like that with the name above them?  I tried to contibute to the last thread like this, but I don't know how to post pics w/o putting them in as an attachment.

Okay, now that I know I can get this to work, thanks dober_gurl, I will try some more

How can you resist these puppies?

These pups were born out of a female Dane rescued from Mexico. She was destined to be killed with her mate but is now a proud mamma. They will be available in 6 weeks. http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=5051653

Here's Delilah, a special girl that doesn't know that she is "different". Delilah only has 3 legs, but has no problem running around & playing. She's one amazing young lady. We think she's approx. 3-4 yrs old. Delilah was a breeding bitch that was dumped at a high kill shelter while giving birth to puppies. She had a difficult labor & the backyard breeders didn't want to spend money on their little goldmine, so they dumped her in a high kill shelter. All of her puppies died! Delilah was devastated. She was adopted but freaked out in her new home because her puppies were gone. The new owners couldn't deal with her anxiety, so they dumped her back at the shelter. Luckily, Gentle Giants Rescue was able to get her for us and she's safe now. She's very well mannered and has adjusted to "normal" home life. She loves everyone and just wants to be loved back. Delilah is house trained and knows several commands. She needs to be an only dog.

Melissakins,  I just love Tater, he sure would make a great pal for Bava.
I noticed him on pet finder today, what a sweet looking boy.

I've been talking to the people fostering him and they said he's 18.5 lbs and is 13-14 weeks.....she said he's a really great dog.
