I just got done doing my workout and as I was jamming to my music I thought, "wow my music covers it all".  Currently on my iPod I have Eminem to Enya and everything in between.

So the question is....."what have you got in your iPod (walkman, cd player, 8 track....)"?

Wow!!! That's a lot of walking, we usually do 2-3 miles a day part of it is a steep hill though.. ugh!  I don't have the knees for marathon walking.

I keep the pedometer on all day so it counts every single step.  ::) Still it is a lot of times going around and around my yard. Now that I think about it my knees are doing better than they were the first two weeks.

Oh yes it counts.  Get a pedometer, it will count every single step for the day.

Ok, let me try this again, it said I was not logged in and I lost my message.

If you have the stamina for nearly 10 miles, you should think of throwing in a little weight training also.  All you would need would be a set of dumbells from Sam's Club, keep them in your warehouse and pick them up when you get a few minutes.  The good thing about the weight training is the calorie burn effect lasts long after you are done with your exercising.  It has been a good many years since, but I lost approx 110lbs from just weight training alone.  And I really can't think of anything that can take the edge off of stress better than being too tired to lift your arms :)

Maybe what I need it to hit someone ;) no not me I am one of those people that have a very hard time getting mad and even when I do get mad no one knows it.

I am going to start adding weight and palates.  I have some 3,4, and 5 pounds I need to place at the shop and by the sofa so I can use them anytime I have a second.

As for the walking if only I could do the 9 miles at one time it would be great.  Most of the time I do 2 or 3 miles in the morning and 2 or 3 miles in the evening.  The rest is just extra steps when I am in the shop.  I really do see that just the walking is not going to be enough so it is time to add a little more work to my day.   :o oh boy!

Happy thursday everyone - well Harley and I walked 2 miles this morning before work.   I forgot my pedometer today but I generally get in at least 10,000 just at work.  I park very far from everything my job, the stores, the baseball fields.  So between everything today I know I will be over 10,000.  Look forward to seeing everyones progress
