Interesting topic. So far I would have to say that our board popularity belongs to:

1. Newf
2. Saints
3. Pyrs
4. Mastiffs
5. Rotties
6. Retrievers
7. Rotties
8. Mixed breeds
9. Rare breeds
10. I dunno...

 :'( :'( :'(

I suppose Great Danes fall in the "I dunno" category?   :'(

I'm crushed, Jaime, just crushed!

 ;)

Holly

I was thinking the samething Holly..Ill join you in the  :'(

You guys are too funny. Sorry about my mistake....mus t be my old age getting to me.  :D I tried to hurry and write while my kids were lining up from lunch. Danes are most definitely in the top 10!

I copied and pasted the pawprint list into Excel, eliminated all the duplicate entries of the same dog, and calculated the frequencies.  Here are the results of the October 2005 BPO Paw Print Statistical Analysis...

76 Great Danes
63 Newfoundlands
54 Rottweilers
54 Saint Bernards
39 German Shepherd Dogs
38 Mixed Breeds
35 Great Pyrenees
30 Mastiffs
29 Labrador Retrievers
22 Doberman Pinschers

I think this pretty much answers the question on this one.  Good job, Laurel!  I'm sure your boss appreciates this good use of valuable company time, just like mine does. The more I think about, yeah there really are a lot of Great Dane owners on here.   Coincidence?  I guess we'll never really know.........

I'd much rather that Pyrs remain more rare than other dogs for obvious reasons concerning breeding practices in relation to popularity. ;D
