hi....this is cori's sister, carmen. she asked me to sign in and let you all know that she has been admitted to the hospital. she is in labor now! (obviously) to be technical, she is having contractions but only dilated at 1. unsure if she will be having her today or not, but either she or i will let you all know how things are progressing.
Cori is now dilated and stuck at 5 cm and it's 1:18 am. she's having a rough time right now:( but im sure before sunrise the baby will be born! send her your prayers and thoughts!
Scarlett Rose was born at 4:06 am (i think that is thr right time) weighing 6 lbs and 9 oz, 19 inches long! mom and baby are healthy as can be and already breastfeeding like a pro!! they will be home probably sunday and she can give you all the details and sure to upload lots of pics! i just wanted to let you all know that she finally came!

YAY!! I just posted on the other one about it! I'm so excited for her! And ON her due date too? First baby, man, that is SO unfair, lol. Many wishes for a safe and healthy labor and delivery!

WHOOOOHOOOOOOO I love babies... hahahahaha I told her 3 days ago that she would have it on the 19th hahahaa Carmen just remember... We NEED pictures.!!!!!!!! All of our thoughts and prayers are going to Cori and the baby.

Oh, goodness! I almost feel related to the lil' baybay! I mean, you know...Diesel lives with my cousin...but is Cori's baby...doesn't that make Scarlett my..uh..second dog cousin once removed?

Gosh Cori, pulling for you. I sure hope you've had her by now, and if not that you at least have experienced the godliness of your anesthesiologist. ;D
I think if she's learned one thing, it's not to go to the hospital before she's in very active labor- been there, done that, won't ever do it again!! Yuck, yuck.

Hey everyone, Dr let me come home today and I am EXHAUSTED.. I am including a few pics then I am going to lay down a bit while she's asleep. 6lb 9oz , 19" , apgar was 9/9 both times. i shall return, my bed calls me :D

And you're brave coming home sooner than the 48 hrs, or maybe you just hate hospitals, lol. My Dr gives me the okay after 24 and I say no thanks, I'm staying lol. I take all the help I can get before I get home and the help ends. :-\ :D

AAAwwwww Cori she is perfect, and so tiny but then again so is her mama. Wishing you both all the best get tons of rest and remember ~ what works for one baby might not work with another, she will never know if you make a mistake.
ps I hate all you woman having tiny babies, mine were 8'6 and 9'8 and on time gggrrrr to you ;) :-*

Oh she is beautiful and she has her mommys lips ;) Do I see red hair too? I am glad you are both doing fine. She looks like a healthy little girl. ;D Congrats. Lexi was 4 pounds 10 oz and she was in a hurry coming over a month early ::)

I guess that I am gonna join the Hated Club... Mason was 5 lbs 15 oz and 2 weeks early... My mom still hates me cause Mase was sooo little... I was 10 lbs 4 oz. hahahahaha For some reason she wants me to have another one... I wonder why???????????

Congrats Cori Shes beautiful!! I was told that my daughter was going to be at least 9lbs...I freaked because I was 8lbs 9 oz, my sister was 10lbs 3oz and my other sister was 11lbs 5oz...my daughter was 6lbs 13oz!!! Congrats again keep the pictures coming!!

Oh she is an absolute doll!! I hope she sleeps well for you and you can get some rest.
My son was 8 lb 7 oz and was a week late and would never have come out had the doctor not gone in to get him.

Both of mine came early. Macey by 2 weeks and Sam was 6 weeks premature. I still can't get over the fact that you went into labor on your due date!! I have never heard of that happening! I can't wait to see more Scarlett pics!

Congrats Cori, shes a little princess... My 1st was born on her due date as well, emergency c-section. 8 lbs. 2 oz. 2nd was a girl as well, born c-section a week late 8 lbs. 1 oz and the third, a boy, was born two weeks early, planned c-section, weighing in at 8 lbs. Very consistent I am i guess. Again congrats, enjoy the sleep while you can....whenever you can..... :)
