Thanks everyone. The hugs and prayers are needed right now. It is so frustrating to deal with a sick mom who is never sick. I feel so helpless and just want her to get back to normal soon. ;D I'll keep you updated on her progress but here is what is wrong with her in case you were wondering: severe pneumonia, a left arm that she can't move although it is not broken per x-rays, gall stones and a scheduled surgery to remove her gallbladder.

Best wishes and prayers from us. I have my MIL with us about 50% of the time it is very hard work.

I'll keep in my prayers.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. ;)

I took care of my Mom after bilateral foot surgery, so I know how exhausting it can be. Good thoughts to Jaimie and Smohr, and take care of yourselves too. :-*

My prayers are with you Jaime.
I came to Fresno from Salt Lake City to help my Mom with her battle with cancer.
Six months before she passed, she said that she wanted a dog.
I went on a search on petfinders.com and found Tulsa.
Mom liked her photo and was crazy about her name, being an Oklahoma Farm Girl.
I brought Tulsa home from Amador County, and Mom and Tulsa became fast friends.
I think she knew that I would need something to fill the void after she was gone.
She was right.
The only thing that I regret is not telling Mom, I Love You, more often.
But now I have Tulsa, and I tell her several times a day.
And I know that my Mom hears that and is smiling.
