Dixie Darlin is going to be in her very first dog show this Saturday and Sunday. I am so excited it is all I can think about. amberdoggoneit will handling her. Which is so great since I keep having dreams about falling on my face. ::) I have never even been to a dog show before so it should be tons of fun and first for us. I will be so happy if she will just go into the ring. We are also taking Sugar Bear, since it would break his heart to not go with us. The following are her ring times and judges:
Saturday - Ring #4 - Judge Mr. Ronald H Menaker
Sunday - Ring #2 -Judge Mrs. Lee Canalizo
We would love for anyone in the area to check out the show. I will be a mess I am sure so it will be good for a laugh. Let me know if any of you show vets have tips, I could use them.

Thanks, guys. I have this great nervous excitement going on and the show is four day away. I am just so happy that amberdoggoneit is going to take her into the ring. My plan was to just check one out for fun way to spend a day, but I can not beleive how excited I am over going.

Show Hours 6:00am - 11:00pm
Saturday- ring 4 10:05am- Judge Ronald H Menaker
Sunday- ring 2 -12:35pm - Judge Mrs. Lee Canalizo
I plan to be there about 8:30 so that Dixie as time to get a feel for the place,but not some much time that she wants to nap during her ring time. I hope I don't have to do a lot of grooming at the show,so anytime before ring time will be great. I am so glad you are comming. It will be a little BPO party!

Lisa, when does this thing start?? I'm looking at the show pages and can't find when it starts - other than show times are from 6 am to 11 pm
When do we need to be there? Also, this is at the fairgrounds on Ziegler, right?

It was so much fun watching Mowglie and Sugar Bear play. We need a dog park so bad. Just think of all the Southeast BPO in one place that would be a blast.

Sugar Bear absolutely loves Mowglie :) I'd bring him, but he's still a little spaz :)

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed all day for Dixie, though (it's going to make it a little difficult to make those cappuccino's like that, but Dixie's worth it!). I can't wait to hear how she does!!

lol, I am so excited I feel like I have had about 10 cappuccino's. I will let you know next time. If we like it there are some shows in Mississippi the first of the year and some if Ft. Walton in March.
I will be so very pleased is she just will walk into the ring.

Beauty was in 1 show also, she recieved 2nd place because everytime we stopped she sat down. That was how she was trained oops! I never took into account in the show ring sitting is a nono! Good luck!
