: Allow me to introduce Milo . . .
: mintchip June 02, 2006, 01:42:27 AM
Hi everyone!  I wanted to introduce Milo, even though he probably won't have big paws, but he doesn't have tiny tracks either.  I rescued Milo from an LA shelter two days past his scheduled euth date after reading a heartbreaking article in Los Angeles magazine last month, and he couldn't have turned out to be a better dog.  He was emaciated at 26 pounds four weeks ago, and is now an improving 36 pounds at probably about 6 months old.  Be forewarned, I have a lot of questions, some of which may be silly, but if I ask them, it's because I couldn't find an answer after searching.  So be patient with us, and thanks for  helping us become more responsible dog owners!

I will second or third the fact that there are no silly questions!  Yay for you rescuing such a lovely dog!  I look forward to hearing stories and seeing pictures.

I am Jacquie and my fur-kids are Tsu (12yo chow), Boudreaux (15wo American Mastiff) and Griffey (6yo, ticked off, fat, yellow, mutt cat).  There are also skin-kids and a hubby (Hghlndr on here) in the mix.  Welcome to BPO and no matter what question you have, there are people that have gone thru it all here.

Welcome! I'm happy you were able to rescue Milo.

I'm Annie, and my dogs are Sadie, a 2-y-o Lab (also a rescue), and Riley, an 11-m-o Saint Bernard.

Riley is a lot bigger than this pic (this was last Oct at about 40 pounds; he's at 120 now), but it's one of my favorites of them.
