Anyone interested in talking about a Texas-Louisiana area get together in the fall?

I'm in Houston so a get-together in Oklahoma or New Mexico is quite an undertaking.  Are there very many of us in this area?

Michael and I are in Houston also.  We are interested in a get together.  I have a couple of friends that might be interested. They don't have big paws but they babysit my heathens.  Would anyone mind if they came along?  Not to mention Kim thinks Scott needs a big paw since he is 6'5" and they have 2 small dogs.
