Hi! I'm Betti. I will be two years old in July.
-
I have a very sloppy tongue, a hereditary characteristic from my father. The vom Neuen Schloss rotties have big tongues. Sometimes it makes me snore, because it is really big and I was the runt and there isn't enough room for it.
-
Not only do I have a big tongue, but I also have a cute butt. Seeeee!
-
Here I am choking on grass. How embarrassing?!?!
-
Still have some of that grass on my tongue. I'm a sloppy eater!
-
...and more cute photos of me...
I like jumping. It's a hobbie. I love attention and I'm starting to get what I want!
-
And...I love Lou boy! I even kiss him!
-
The pictures are super cute, the one where she has a little bit of grass in her mouth is one of the cutest pics I have ever seen, what a face. Thanks for sharing

Very cute butt! Great pictures.

Very cute! I'm sure your Lou, like me, likes the booty shot too. :D
-
Great pics!!! She is beautiful and Rotties do have the cutest butts!! ;D

Rocco's mom was a Rottie and his tongue hangs out a lot.
-
I don't think they knowhow to keep it in the mouth. :)

LOL! Perhaps these too-big tongues are haphazardly created through eugenics...Bre eders want rottweilers to have big, square heads (unlike Betti's little bubble-head), but try to produce lines with shorter, broader snouts. Somehow I don't think the breeders are exactly genetic engineering experts and do not account for the tongue, which ends up thick and stocky, just like they are hoping will happen with the rest of the dog...
Even funnier, sometimes I think it ends up that the only big muscle on the rottie's body is a big, sloppy, floppy tongue which acts as a convenient, moist toilette, washing him-/herself. ;D

Love this shots. I get nothing done spending all day looking at photos. Thanks. Peggy

There is a lack of stimulating conversation within my household, so I gravitate to my Mac. So, in turn, I sometimes get "nothing done" either sitting her reading and viewing photographs of the most hilarious kind imaginable, or else I am out following the dogs around all evening trying to capture something to make you, and I, laugh! ;D

Betti has that lazy eye. So cute! I maintain that it was the one that kept a lookout on her siblings in the womb, since she was all crammed up in the corner and became the runt. ;D
Sometimes her eye droops like that and other times it is fine. When we brought her home and she was sick with a lot of infections her eye was like that all the time. I think it has something to do with being tired. When she is up and about, excited and frolicking, it looks like the other eye. ;D
-
I really like this photo because it brings out that expression that Betti has often, throughout the day. She also has this "smile" where she drops her ears down, making her bubble head stick up even further, then she opens her mouth really wide into a pant...She does this when we talk to her a lot, or try to act funny....Maybe it means she is acting bashful! I would like to capture that moment some day.
-
Trying to take a photo with little Betti...she is very slippery! ;D
-
Lady has the same look. She likes this look when she feels pitiful or is in trouble. it's her sad doggie start loving me again look.

Still slip slidin' away....
