I woke up this morning and came downstairs only to hear strange noises coming from the kitchen. I was convinced there was an intruder in the house :o Well it turns out there was, only it wasn't a person it was a bird :o I found a window open in the basement so I think the bird flew in the window, up the stairs right next to it, and ended up in the kitchen. It was flying back and forth from window to window trying to get out - I felt so bad for it :-\ It was so freaked out when it saw me it was flying around in circles from room to room. I had to open up all the windows in the kitchen and dining room before it would fly out. Of course with all the flying around I had to grb the camera ;)
Good thing Zoey was upstairs in the bedroom - she would have freaked out if she found the bird in the house :o

HAHAHAHAHA!! I would have been so freaked out!! My luck I would have had bird poop all over my furniture. I'm amazed you had time to think "Hey I'll get my camera!" LOL That's just too funny! ;D

Birds in enclosed spaces kinda freak me out.....not as bad as bats though!

My house is just the place to be for birds :o
Today I took Zoey out and left the door open while we were in the yard. Then after I brought her back in the house I went to the side yard to talk to Dan who was working in our new fence. We heard a loud bang that sounded like it was coming from in the house so I looked up and guess what I saw in the kitchen - another bird crashing into the window from the inside :o It apprently flew in when I was taking zoey out, which I guess I should have expected because there are usually half a dozen birds hanging around our yard. This time instead of flying into the living room it went into hiding in the pantry. Everytime is flew from one play to another, Zoey jumped back a little bit :D
