our vet said that the ridges are normal, and his "lump" on his forehead is only because he is growing and not quite filled out yet, so he doesn't have the fatty tissue to fill in the blanks and make him look normal.  puts me at ease!  forgot to ask them what he weighed in at, i'll have to call back and ask!
