I can't wait to see everyone!
Oh, and Jaime...one small thing. Cabeza only has one "e" in his name. Cabeza means "head" in Spanish. Its pronounced like, Ca-base-ah.
Thanks!

I have been so excited to see all of the entries! There are lots of nice pictures.

I hope everyone remembers that it's the name under the photo that identifies the dog. There are so many it's hard to keep them straight!

: jabear July 03, 2005, 10:11:41 PM
Good point! I will add it to the top and here- thanks!

: Nancy-Jo July 04, 2005, 04:41:42 AM
OK, How do we vote? I want Patriotic Teddy and Rocky to win but why are they listed twice in the poll? Will that cut thier votes in half? I tried to click on the poll and can't. I know it must be past time for the polls to open so I must be doing something wrong. Please tell me what so I can vote. I vote for Teddy and Rockt but I want it to be counted so show me how to do it the right way. Please. (Teddy and Rocky's mama)
: Re: July's Patriotic Photo Contest
: Nicole July 04, 2005, 10:31:45 AM
hahahaha! Gypsy, Rocky TOTALLY looks like a drill sargeant! He looks like he takes his duty to his country VERY seriously!
: Re: July's Patriotic Photo Contest
: Nicole July 04, 2005, 10:32:39 AM
Yeah...so how do we vote?
: Re: July's Patriotic Photo Contest
: mastiffmommy July 04, 2005, 11:31:41 AM
Well my guess is that there has been a little delay, once the voting is open, there is a little box next to the name in the list and you click in it.

I only have a sec. between everything today, so have to get off again, but Jaba or Michael I am sure is working on getting the voting going. when you see a box next to the name, they are done lol.....

Happy 4th of july everyone.

Hey. What's up with the "bump"ing? I don't get it.
: Re: July's Patriotic Photo Contest
: jabear July 06, 2005, 12:49:37 PM
Nicole "bump" is just a word used to put the topic back at the top of the list so that more people will see it and vote and/or reply to the topic.
: Re: July's Patriotic Photo Contest
: Nicole July 06, 2005, 01:39:34 PM
OH! Ok. cool, thanks! I thought it was some sorta weird thing that you and Nikkers were doing...like, if Bear got a vote, you'd "bump" her..and vice versa!
: Re: July's Patriotic Photo Contest
: jabear July 06, 2005, 01:40:53 PM
OMG! That is too funny. We should have thought of that.  ;D

Here is another Angus but this one is a Landseer Newf who , like Rudy, missed the deadline. I will post the pic in this place but next time he has to make the deadline too. He is so lovable on the couch!

DISCLAIMER: For those who do not know me well the following post is just my sense of humor.  I do not mean to offend anyone and I, personally, think it is funny.  I am saying it with a big grin on my face, too.

I am all for Angus's Patriotic American Pose.  For most citizens of the U.S....stretch ed out on the sofa is the place to be when not working overtime without pay, health insurance or a vacation that's long enough to actually see what the rest of the world has to offer.

But, what is very unpatriotic about Angus is that he does not have useless opposable thumbs to obsessively fiddle with Xbox controllers all day long.  Nor does he have a bag of McDonald's handy.  And I do not see Fox Television in the background.  Looks like he's good to go!

Angus get's my patriotic vote even though he did not meet the deadline.  Granted, that is if I cast a slippery second vote. ;D ;) ;D :D

Oh Moon,
You crack me up! You didn't need to put a disclaimer there either- I am sure everyone will laugh outloud at what you wrote. Thanks for the morning giggle.

Moon is really funny.  I like the dry sense of humor.  :)

Bump

Bumping is fun....althoug h I'm not tall enough to ride the bump.  You have to be at least 5 foot 2 inches and I'm 1/4 inch too short.

Ok.  I'm really naive in a lot of areas and always looking to learn something new, so what does *bump* mean and bumper up?
: Re: July's Patriotic Photo Contest
: jabear July 09, 2005, 08:45:26 AM
SO I changed the rules. I know that I said there could only be one winner but last time around I said there was to be a male and female winner. So, I felt bad after a talk with Nickers last night and decided to have a male and female winner. Without further-a-do, Congratulation s to Zeus & Zoey!

Ok.  I'm really naive in a lot of areas and always looking to learn something new, so what does *bump* mean and bumper up?

You know how on BPO most people use the main page that lists all the topics that have recently been posted in? Well, when someone posts 'bump' it means that all they want to do is put the topic  back at the top of the list so people will see it, and in this case vote. :)

Yay Zoey!  And yay for homemade costumes, too! Way to go!  ;D
