I've had these pics but I kept forgetting to post them. My brother (Tspanos) and I got my mom agility stuff for Christmas. We now have a 16' tunnel, a teeter stand, 5 jumps, and a tire jump. We plan to make more in the Spring the weaves are cut but need spikes and we still need a pause table, Aframe and dog walk. Here's the mini course I set up. They've already taken me out twice ducking out in front of me ::).

Kali's been doing agility since she was a puppy in her puppy class. She loves it. Lacey just started. She's a little nervous about the dogwalk and Aframe still. It's not hard to train them especially if you know someone with an experienced dog. Kali showed Lacey how to do long tunnels and the Aframe. It's good exercise for them and really helps with their focus in obedience.Â
Next meetngreet at our place we'll set it up.
**Edit** cause it's Erin(chaos270) not Tim

My suggestion is to start in an agility class with a good trainer. Ask to sit in and maybe do a private class first and see how it goes. As long as your lab is in good health (good joints etc) I think you'll have a good time. It's good exercise for both you and the dog. You may want to do some light running to get into shape...though I haven't but I always pay for it ;). And work on obedience so the dog listens better on the course. Good luck and if you get going you'll have to post some pics.
Also my freind has labs and they all LOVE agility and it helps burn off some of that energy.

Wow..that sounds so exciting...She most certainly needs to burn off excess energy and she is really pretty good obedience wise. Not sure about how good of shape I am in..hahaha but I think it will be great for both of us! I have a friend who goes each week and we will be starting with her next week. I will let you know how it goes...Thanks again!
