Hi all,it's 315 AM and I am helping a friend that is missing her beloved dog that we think was stolen.

I can't help but think of Gus and his MOM.

I found a site on line about serach and rescue dogs that find not only people but pets as well.
This page is *what to do if your pet is missing.

It is long and a hard read,because this guy pulls no punches,but there are also lots of things I never thought of either.

I just thought that it was info that everyone should be aware of and the web site also offers many tips on preventing this from happening.

Thank you so much for posting this, awesome information!  I actually put that site in my favorites for "just in case" reasons!  I'm sorry to hear about your friends dog.  :(
