I have a beautiful male akita. he is papered and has been tested negative for the hip gene. my question is other then running an add in the paper does any one have advice about finding people that need a stud dog. he is beautiful and his temperment is amazeing. i would really like to breed him i know im kinda prejudice but he is litterly the perfect dog.

has your dog been shown? it's always better if your dog has been finished before breeding. if you're dead set on breeding, you can contact your local breed specific club or kennel club for information.

his parents are champions but he has not been shown. he minds really well at home but if were at the park he dosent listen he dosent get mean or aggressive but very excited thats why i havent shown him. and no i couldnt handel any thing bad happening to his babies. he is so great and i would feel horrible ill post a picture here soon thanks for your input.

(http://)well Im brandy I am the mom of cole my akita and chance my mix. i love them both. i also have cats and children lol there is never a peaceful moment in my house.

thank you your akita is soooooooooooo cute. im such a sucker for dogs its horribke im looking at buying a mini pom right now. wow i have to be crazy 3 dogs 2 cats and 3 kids and a husband. lol what am i thinking.

caine-75lb ish pitbull 10 months old
diesel-110lb ish 10 month dane
peanut-2lb chihuahua
1 cat (i finally got two homes!)
4 fish tanks (72 gallon, 55 gallon, 5 gallon, 1 gallon)
a 1 and 3 year old (both boys) and of course my hubby (all stay inside, although i'm trying to make hubby stay outside ;) just playing)

Just wanted to welcome you to the board. I found the place I take my girls to do agility at on the internet. I just did a search for my area and agility and it came up with all the places around. Then I went and watched a class and talked to the owners. You might also ask your local vet. Hope that helps in finding a place to do agility and I hope you enjoy it.

I have persian cats that i breed i love my cats. but thanks for the info i would like to try that and also some obedience classes so i can show him. any way thank you soooooooo much
