: dog lover April 08, 2007, 07:30:23 AM
 :) hi everyone

Just a quick update on callie , she is now 6.5 months old and 6 stone and doing great.

We took her out today to see how she was with water, well i think a little practise is needed .

We now know where the meaning doggy paddle comes from lol she was terrible splashing about like a lunatic.

Anyway here are a few pics of callie & our goldie ben.

They are both beautiful looking dogs. Poor Callie you will learn how to swim with a little practice ;) I can't wait to try Rosie this summer :-\

Ohhhh dear, Callie is making my Leo longings worse.....  We live right by the water, so another water-lovin' dog would be wonderful. We have a Golden & 2 Pyrs.  The Golden (predicatably) loves water and can swim in a mud puddle.  ::)  So far though, none of my Pyrs have liked to do any more than a tiny little wade. Don't get me wrong, I adore my Pyrs and I'll probably be the "Pyr Lady" around here until my dying day, but there's just something about a big 'ol wet puppy that makes me smile.  I know that Leos are 1/3 Newf, so is it common for them to love water? I'll be meeting some Leo people later on this year, so I'll have a blast, I'm sure! More pics, please!!!!

Look how much she's grown since your last post.  She has a great mask.
