Hello all,

We are very happy to have found this discussion board. I am sure we will have questions when we get our puppy. 11 days and counting before we get our puppy. He is a black male and we have decided to name him Magoo.

I have attached 2 pictures at 1 week and 5 weeks.

Congrats on getting your Newfie pup!  What a great name too!  I am sure you will love him to pieces!  We have 3 Landseer Newfs.  Two 2 1/2 yr. old siblings and a 1 yr. old half brother (same Mom, different Dad). 

Good Luck & yes this is a wonderful web site filled with great people, pups and ideas!

Congrats to you and Magoo!!!  You've connected to the right place!  We ALL love puppies!!!  and pictures!  I'm sure Magoo knows that he's going to a great family...your here, right??  That makes you great!!!

Funny, for some reason I was sure that Newf babies were the size of baby moose when they are very young...lol!!!...How very darling!...I have a Pyr baby I am waiting on but she is already 5 months old (still has the fuzz head though!) One day I will have the little white ball of fluff!!!!..Congrats! ;D

Gypsy,

The wait is killing me, you have to have your little girl.  I was not able to pick up Sugar Bear or Dixie.  So Delta did the job.  I was told that on the fist flight they put Dixie up front and she barked until someone would talk to her. 
 
I had the breeder add a not to the crate with there name and story of where they were going.  Sugar Bear's flight was just over an hour and Dixie was in the are for 2 1/2 hrs.  They did great.

You could also send her a t-shirt or toy with your scent on it for the flight.  Dixie was shipped with a toy she still loves.  It had her littermates and Mom's scent on it.  That will be one long day for you.  I had the breeders call me as soon as they were on the flights.  Then it was off to the airport for us.  It take forever for a plane to land when it has your new fur-baby on it.

Sugar Bear was shipped on a 8:00pm flight so it would be cooler. Good luck keep us updated.
