As most of you know I lost Tisha this past father's day after 11 years. A few people on here have bought sculpts from me. I wanted to do one of Tisha for a long time now, but I was afraid it wouldn't look right. Finally I decided to try. She loved to lay on her back and chew her fav. squeaky toy. So I went with that 'pose'

Thanks everyone. I made a Bull Mastiff for my vets office awhile back, and I am trying to do a Pyr right now.I have been busy making ornaments and stuff for Christmas, but I took a break because the time seemed rigt to try to sculpt my girl... I love it, it makes me smile. They may not be "lifelike" statues, but they capture the personality of the pup I think. :)

I think that it's wonderful and I love the playful pose. Besides, what is more "lifelike" than capturing their personality and who better to do it than the person that loved them the most. I think that it's wonderful that you can remember your Tisha this way. I wish that I had your talent. ;D :-*
