I got my Nutrisystem food in today!! So, I'm off on my quest to be a loser!! I thought I would start this thread because there were a couple others who are fighting the same fight.

Wanna check in once a week to montior our progress?

Post our problems, questions and celebrate our successes?

Let's do it here!!

That's an awesome idea!

I'll be going into the LA weight loss center tomorrow for a weigh in, I don't know if I'll have lost anything since my last one though.  I've been a bad girl and have succumbed to my Tim Hortons addiction almost every day this week.  :-[ ;)

I'll let you guys know afterwards!  :D

Great idea!!!  My friend went on LA Weightloss 5 years ago, and now she's made her same plan out for me!  I have to weigh-in with her weekly and show her my food logs!  Anyway, I'm losing slowly, but steadily....I've lost 6 pounds since the beginning of January!  Yay!

Yes I'm here and ready to check in - I also weigh in tomorrow - this was NOT a good week - it was my birthday week and I let myself go a bit.

So I'll start over tomorrow - actually this would be the first week I have gained in about 4 months.

As I mentioned I am Jenny Craig.  Will you be starting your Nutrisystem tomorrow?

What is everyone going to do about the Superbowl?

How do you want to run this thread - put our weight, goal and losses each week?  Or just losses each week?  And do we want to keep a thread going or do a PM type of thing?  What does anyone thing?  How about a photo - either from recently or a bit older just so we can see who we are writing back and forth to?

Just a thought

I think we should list our losses/gains each week. I'm going to buy a scale tomorrow so we can all start on or about the same day.

We can post before, during and after pictures if you want. I'm posting mine again below. (EWW)

I unpacked all my nutrisystem food and had cheese tortellini for lunch and thin crust cheese pizza for dinner. The portion sizes are quite small, but you are supposed to make yourself a salad to eat with it. I don't have any of that in the house so I just let my tummy grumble lightly for a while. As far as taste goes, it's not that bad at all. The cheese tortellini had a lot of tomato sauce with veggie chunkies in it and the pizza came with the crust (kind of like a Bobolli crust) then you spread the sauce on from a packet and sprinkle the cheese from another packet. It was pretty tasty. I'm going to have dessert in a minute - that's the true test.

If it's OK with the moderators, I say we keep it in a thread. If not, we'll go PM.

Well I have done ok on the weight loss and just ok on the smoking...I have cut down on the smoking from about a pack a day to a pack every 4 days...So thats good...but this weekend I am not even going to worry...Sunday is a huge day...from 10-1 I have to go to a Krew De Barkus...Its a MardiG parade we have every year...Doggie parade and all kinds of booths..Very fun though..Then me and my kids who are 17 and 19 are meeting friends at Trinity Hall, an Irish Pub in Dallas for a late lunch and then to House Of Blues for SuperBowl Party and then Flogging Molly...my all time favorite Irish Punk band is playing...so I am sure lots of food and a mega keg of beer with the irish folks and I will most likely not only gain a major headache but a few pounds as well...but darn well worth it!!  I will begin again on Monday!

I think it's a great idea!  I am forever trying to lose weight.  It's funny, I used to think I was SO fat, and then I packed on 64 lbs.  Even after that I don't think I looked bad, but it was clear I was overweight.  (Everyone said I carry it well...maybe they were just being nice.  ;D)  Anyway, I neve realized how good I looked back then and I want to get back to that!  I've lost 25 lbs on Weight Watchers, but I've stalled and gained back 5 lbs.  I just joined a gym last night, so maybe we can motivate each other to stick with it...

So I will be the first to bite the bullet and announce my starting weight... *gulp*...  184 lbs.

Although, I don't think posting your weight is necessary if you don't want to...

Well today was weigh in - not so good actually the first time in months I have put on weight I'm not surprised this week was my birthday AND we were away last weekend - but I really was watching - I brought my own breakfast when I went away; didn't have deserts but it still wasn't pretty.  Oh well back on the horse - usually I slack off on Saturdays after weigh in but not today!!  I also didn't treadmill as much (OK at all this week).  I may join a gym today - I want my son to come with me and he is resisting he would rather sit home on his tush.

So while not required I will tell you:

My weight started at 228 (yuck!) in the fall and I am down:
212 - Current weight
199 - immediate goal (the whole goal is overwhelming!)
170 - ending goal (although maybe when I get there I will push it to 160?

Finally, a whine - I have lost 16 pounds and noone (except hubby) has noticed and all my clothing still fits - what a bummer I guess that is because I am 5' 8" and it was easy to hide 20 so I guess noone will notice for a while.

Best of luck to everyone this week!!

That's great that you have lost that much weight!  It's so easy to put it on and SO SO hard to take it off!  I know how it is when you want people to see the results of your hard work.  My family never notices and honestly, I only went down one jeans size after losing 20 lbs.  Size 18 used to be snug on me...and I can fit into 14's now, but it's usually not very comfortable!!

My girls try to motivate me by buying great clothes for my birthday or Christmas that is a size or two too small.  LOL!  katie gave me the cutest pair of khaki green cargo capris that are a size 12...I'm determined to fit into them by this summer!

Well, here's my weigh-in, and it's a little disappointing. I thought I was at 185, but my brand new scale tells a different story, so...

My starting weight is 190
Goal Weight:  145

So far, I'm doing OK with the Nutrisystem food. I'm not any more hungry than when I eat fast food and I'm not even eating all that they tell me to eat because I haven't gone grocery sopping yet. I'm supposed to supplement it with fruits and salads, etc.

Gonna make my beef tacos now and my microwave chocolate cake later.

Can't wait 'til weigh-in next week!!

I'm on board too ladies!!! ;)

After having Blake...then surgery...I wasn't able to do much other than walk (up until now) :P I know walking is good excercise but when it's -20 C here right now, our walks are not so enjoyable! :D We still go, but it's not as nice as walking during spring/summer/fall...

ANYWHO. We bought an elliptical last month, I got the OK from my doc on Thursday to start on it...YIPEEEEE!!! ;D ;D ;D It gives me a GREAT workout, actually it really kicks my @ss! :D So with that, entertaining Blake and Kate all day, and the walking, I hope to see some change! ;)

PLUS, I've started on the CORE plan with Weight Watchers (not the POINTS plan). It's fairly easy to follow...I have certain allocations of core foods a day that I can have (lean protein, veggies, fruits, whole grains, dairy) and I get 35 Flex Points a week on top of that (that's for the bad stuff) ha ha ha ;) It's mostly about making smart choices and understanding portion control  ;)

I did lose all the baby weight with Blake HOWEVER I was overweight before I had him, so want to lose that and then some! ;D And that surgery really set me back, I was pretty much bed-ridden for a while, not fun  :P I'm an active person so that was tough on me! ;)

I signed up online (can still attend meetings) but for me I work best without being pushed by someone I don't even know!  ::) It's also VERY expensive and the online program was much better suited to my budget (we did after all just buy an expensive piece of excercise equipment)!  :D BUT I really think this plan is going to work for me, I know I can do it and stay motivated as I want to be healthier for myself, for Blake, and sexier for Eric! ;) :-*

Ok.  Looks like we have a great weight loss buddy system going here.  Good for you Kelly, for having the drive to be able to answer to yourself.  I, on the other hand, need someone to answer to every week.  I can justify every bad choice I make to myself, but I need someone there telling me that my justifications are full of it.  Not so deep down, I know they are right.

Here are my words of encouragement:  We may have long term goals that seem impossible.  But if you celebrate the small successes, before you know it, you'll reach the long term.  Any weight loss is a reason to be proud.  Even if you only lose two lbs - be as proud of that loss as much as you would be upset if you had gained two.  Losing weight is hard and dropping two lbs is an accomplishment!

OK so I'm having SUCH a bad week - first I was annoyed that I had gained weight last week then the superbowl, then my daughter was home sick from school yesterday which caused me to hit the kitchen cabinets (where we store the junk food).  I ate so much yesterday I was sick to my stomach - today not much better - I have to find my motivation again.

Hope everyone else is doing better!!

I definitely think you guys should keep it in a thread. Maybe it will motivate others (like myself ::)) to start eating healthy again.

I had lost a TON of weight a couple years ago (when I lived in Canada)...I moved back to the states and packed it all on again...and then some!

I am definitely overweight, and at this point and time, I think I like food more than looking fit and slim. And I wish I didn't, but that's the reality of it! hahaha I need to get in a different mindset I guess. So yes, please keep your progress and all that good stuff in this thread. I need the motivation!

Hi all!  I think one day to weigh in would be great.

This idea is so great! My problem is that I grew up playing tennis....like crazy.  We're talking throughout the year, everyday after school; tennis camp everyday in the summer that lasted around 6-7 hours, then high school tennis.  By the time I played all four years in college, I HATED tennis and seriously felt a sickening aversion to even the thought of working out once i didn't have to!!!!  After I quit tennis, I ended up losing weight, probably because my muscles were wasting away.  Nevertheless, 5 years ago at my wedding, I weighed around 113.  Fast forward being married to man that can eat everything in sight and not gain a pound, my love for freshly brewed beer, and lots of stress from 7 years of grad school and I found myself at....gulp.... .140 lbs!!!  Granted, I know this is not the end of the world, but I just can't keep going this way.

So, I started a version of my friend's LA weight loss on January 7th, and I've lost 7 lbs!  Yay!  So, there's my story.  My name is Liz and I love food.  DAMN!!!!  I do have my annual girls' trip to Florida on April 26th, and the idea of having to get into a bikini is enough to keep me up at night!

Also, maybe we could also post our favorite weight loss tip or recipe?????

Ok how did I miss this thread????? Glad I found it though. I'm in like flyn. I had my weigh in on Monday.

Starting weight was 248.4 January 7th 08
Mondays weight 241.4

So I'm at a total loss of 7lbs.
My realistic goal is about 175 lbs. I'm almost 6 feet tall and would look belimic if I went down to WW goal for me. I think it was something like 160.

So count me in!  :)

Hey guys, Okay so I completely gapped on the weigh in last week, but I'll be going after work today, cause I really want to know how much I've lost so far.  People at school and work have been commenting that I look like I'm loosing, and my size 12 pants that I bought are getting a little baggy at the waist!  As for fav foods right now and or recipies.  I LOVE veggies, but boiling them, or frying, or baking is really not good for you.  So, I buy those Glad Steam bags, they're great for almost anything, that and my George Forman Grill.  I will defrost 2 Tilapia (fish-very tasty, and also extremely good for you and almost fat free) fillets, throw them on the grill with som Dill and Rosemary for 5 minutes, while the fish is cooking I'll throw some Veggies (broccoli, cauliflour, a couple baby carrots) into one of the steam bags with just a few drops of Lemon Juice, stick that in the Microwave on high for 4-5 minutes and you've got a well rounded, filling, tasty, and fat free meal!  Also, I've switched from Sugar to Splenda, it doesn't have Aspertame in it so it's one of the safer substitutes out there, and I only use Skim milk in my tea.

Also I don't know about you guys, but I'm a cerial junkie, I like to have a bowl when I get home from school at almost 10pm cause I'm almost ALWAYS hungry after 4.5 hours of welding.  So instead of grabbing even stuff like Cherios, I'll have Shredded Wheat with Honey on top.  Look at the Ingredients list next time you go buy Cerial, almost all cerials out there have either sugar or sodium as one of the first ingredients.  Shredded wheat, has Wheat.  ;)
So ya  I guess that's my schpeal for now.  I'll let you know what my actual weigh in was after I get home from LA Weightloss, and I'll try to find a fat pic of me (I try to not have pictures taken of me, cause I hate the way I look!  :-[).
: Re: BPO Battle of the Bulge
: London_Pyr_Lover February 04, 2008, 10:51:25 PM
Hey Alex, you know what else is good on tilapia?  Cilantro, cumin, lime juice, a teeny, tiny bit of butter, chili powder and cayenne.  Even with the butter, it's still really low in fat and calories. I serve it with a tiny bit of brown rice.

Another good way to make veggies is with red pepper flakes, garlic and a tiny bit of olive oil...just sautee it until done to your liking. :)

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm ...Yummy!!  Thanks, now I'm hungry!!  lol  :D :D

Okay, current weight is 175.4 lbs.  Starting weight like a month ago was 185, so I'm down 10 lbs!! WOOOO!! ;D

My goal is 135, and I wanna fit into a size 6, they told me at LA Weightloss my target date is sometime in June, so it looks like I'm well on my way!

Modified to add:  Sorry no pics, I'll take one later and post it.   :-[ :)

Hello ladies,

Today was my weigh-in day, started last Thursday and am down a whole whopping 5 lbs in one week! Wooooo-hoo!!! ;D ;D ;D

I know that the 5 lbs in one week result isn't typical, but it's my first week of both watching what I eat AND working out, so I suppose it's warranted! ;D No cheating either, I'm doing good! :D I'm actually surprised, because of the fact I'm still nursing Blake I'm supposed to have a bit more to eat than the suggested (which I have been), but when you are eating foods that are GOOD for you (as opposed to something quick & easy), I suppose it makes a difference! ;D The biggest thing I'm finding is that I HAVE to plan ahead (which is fine) but I never really did that before  ;)

I'm finding it straight forward to follow... Other than having to go buy an ENTIRE run of groceries to replace a lot of stuff we had in the house...I'm happy  ;) Oh, and Eric is liking my recipes' and snacks on the plan, so that's another bonus  ;D

And Julie, my tilapia recipe is almost identical to yours, it sure is yummy isn't it! ;D The only thing I'm having to avoid with a lot of the recipes is the cumin and chili powders because I'm nursing Blake, but that's ok  ;)

To all of  your weight losers

Way to Go

As for myself I have totally fallen off the wagon - I am going to be so upset with myself tomorrow when I weigh in!!  But I will start over tomorrow - BUT why oh why is it so hard to take off a few pounds and soooo easy to put them back on??

Then I can be good for this week and then I'm going away for a week and will eat out all week - thats never good!!

Oh well - back on the wagon - or should I say treadmill

We all weigh in tomorrow. Personally, I'm excited. I haven't been able to keep checking the scale because I've been so good!! Of course, it's only my first week so I haven't had much of a wagon to fall off of yet, but the Nutrisystem food is so good (for the most part) and I haven't really wanted to snack.

The hardest part has been not eating past 7pm. I'm used to having a dessert or munchies late at night while Aaron and I watch TV so my tummy starts grumbling wondering what's going on now. I just grit my teeth and go to bed a little earlier.

Mmmmmm, yum watermelon!  I've also had good luck with air popped popcorn or sigh....rice cakes for munching late at night.   Not the same as whatever I was craving, but they do seem to fill in those hollow spots.    ;)  ;D

Randy,

Start today, you'll be so glad you did tomorrow. Even if you had a really crappy few days and a bad start to the day, you can make it better!  I know you can do it!

Here are the BPO peeps cheering you on:

Um, yeah, that pic didn't work. But I'm doing jump splits right now!
[/quote]

Well even though I didn't start again yesterday I did today - and when I fell off the wagon I didn't go to far - went out for dinner and had a salad with cajan grilled chicken on top - no dressing no bread no fries but I did have a nice piece of chocolate yesterday - it wasn't big but it was good.

So weigh in today down 1 1/2 pounds which is actually up 1 pound from 2 weeks ago did you understand that?  anyway since starting dieting in the fall I am down 17.5 pounds

Randy

Good job, Randy!! You didn't fall off the wagon at all, you just hit a big rock and it made your butt fly up off the seat is all!!

I lost 3 pounds last week!!

There have only been a couple of the Nutrisystem foods that I've had so far that I didn't like, but most of them are really yummy, and I can even have the occasional Arby's beef & cheddar (without the red ranch, which I don't like anyway) and fit it into the diet. That's awesome, 'cause they just opened an Arby's here Monday and I haven't had it in sooooooo long!!

I guess when I say eating my emotions is when I'm upset and bothered by something I eat. Not good food but bad food cause it's supposed to make you feel better. LOL And I was a little intoxicated when I was writting and eating.

Oh my Goodness!!  I went to Kingston for my girlfriends Bachlorette party!  I had some revolting uber breaded shrimp, got pretty intoxicated, and then ate 2 giant slices of PIZZA!  I feel like I just set myself back about a week in my diet.  Plus!  I still have the wedding and reception to worry about!  I'll weigh in later this week to see how far back I've set myself.

PS.  I did have ALOT of fun though!

omg, how did i miss this?
So, im here with you all. my goal is like 110-120lbs LMAO i was 107 until i met darcy...
ok, i started, well, i tried, to start eating a bit better. OK, so im a Tim Horton Junkie. I LOVE my Cola and im addicted to cheese. but if i dont buy cheese, i dont have any to eat, which has helped, but darcy had a nacho craving and so, we bought cheeze, and guess who ate the block? ME yep. ugh.
I did, though, lose 10lbs since January... FROM NOT EATING CHEESE GUYS! my god!
i am not a big 'healthy eater' i hate almost all veggies. So that helps me NONE. like, i dont know, if i put something i dont like in my mouth, instantly have that vomit feeling. and, well, thats not fun at all.
I have, also been eating some tuna sandwiches, yum, i used to be addicted to tuna when i was a kid, except i do put mayo on it. boo. thats about the only fish i will eat. lol
I dont eat Chocolate *not often anyways, one bar maybe every 2 months?* it makes me sick... 12
any other hints and tips?  my weight was 180 in Jan, down now 171 *yes, i had to eat that dam bar of cheese*
we got a tread mill, and i used it once, but the belt was loose so we had to have it fixed, and i havent used it again since... i know, i really should. and the weather is much too cold for me to walk. TOO BAD i guess.

Jo if you like coffee from Timmy's you can still have it, just cut out the sugar/cream (or at least cut it down a little). I use those International Delights creamers, the low-fat French Vanilla one (DELICIOUS by the way!) is not bad at all, but you can only have 1 TBSP (which is all you need really)! Black coffee is just fine, no fat  ;)

As for the cheese, I love it too...and I found a low-fat version from Kraft (although I haven't seen it in blocks yet) it's pre-sliced and I can't tell the difference from fatty cheese at all! ;D Can't eat tonnes of it or anything, but every little bit helps (right)? ??? ::) :D

: Re: BPO Battle of the Bulge

Here's our favorite smoothie,

Vanilla Soy Milk
a ripe banana
frozen berries

Just toss it all in the blender, whiz it up & drink.  It's just that fast & easy.  We like strawberries sometimes, but my fav is the Costco frozen blueberry/raspberry/marionberry mixture.  Yum!  BTW, cow's milk works well too if you add a little vanilla.  I like soy milk b/c it works for our son that is allergic to dairy, it's heart healthy, and since it's sold w/vanilla already added, it's super easy.   ;)

Does anyone have a good, easy recipe for low-fat, low calorie smoothies?

Here's what I use:

- Astro Source Fat-free Plain Yogurt (not frozen, it doens't have aspertame and there's no sugar added)

- Europe's Best frozen fruits...one thing to watch when you buy frozen fruits is that some have added sugar, Europe's Best doesn't (there are lots of varieties) Summer Fruits (grapes/melon/strawberries) Berry Mixtures (blueberries, raspberries, black berries) I usually mix a few together

- Half a banana

- 3 tsp's Olive Oil (I know it sounds kind of yucky but you can't even taste it, and it's sooooooooo good for you)!

- I also put a Fibre Supplement in mine, I buy it at my local health food store (it's not Metamucil or any of those), it's all natural and has added vitamins and minerals as a bonus!

Wow! Great smoothie suggestions and that was a wonderful article, Katie! Thanks!!

OK, yesterday was weigh-in day and I don't see any results here from our "Losers".

I went to a gala last night and had 3 glasses of wine and some delicious non-nutrisystem finger foods so I was a little nervous to weigh myself this morning (also, it's that time of the month - you know, "munch-stration")

Thankfully, I'm still on a losing streak: down 6.5 pounds!!  ;D

Only only 43 to go... >:(

Ahhh..I was doing wedding stuff for the past week, so I'm sure I've gained, but am too much of a chicken to check.  Will weigh in this week.

Oh gee, I forgot to post  ::)

Last week I lost 3 lbs, woo-hoo! ;D ;D ;D So I've lost 8 lbs total in 2 weeks...BUT I know that's about to change  :P

I was told that this is usually how dieting works, that if you really stick to it (and don't cheat) within the first couple of weeks you can really drop some weight fast, which I have (although I don't really know where I lost it from...my pants are a bit looser but everything else is the same)  ::)

From here on I'm guessing I'll most likely lose 1 lb a week (if that)...but that's fine with me, I'm just happy to have some success thus far! ;D ;D ;D Especially considering I haven't skipped any meals or anything becuase I can't (I'm nursing Blake) and that would be unsafe! ;)

Great job, everyone!! We must be learning something if we can still lose or maintain even if we're not being strict with our respective diets all 7 days.

I think 1-2 pounds is both healthy and average when following a safe diet plan (after the initial water-weight drop at the beginning). Definitely don't expect that initial momentum to last very long, and don't get frustrated if it doesn't.

Remember, even if you lose 1 pound or a 1/2 pound a week - those add up - that's 2-4 pounds a month and - most importantly - it gives your elastic skin time to catch up with your weight loss so you won't have saggy skin hanging down to your ankles when it's all over!!

Keep up the good work, ladies!

Yay!  I've officially lost 10lbs since New Year's!  Yay!  Right now, I'm at 130, so only 10 more lbs to go!

Alright, Ladies... It's weigh-in day. How did we do?

I was worried (again) 'cause I'm in another play and have had to go straight from work to the theatre so I've been skipping lunch and stopping at McDevil's for supper.

But...

down another couple of pounds to 181.5. That makes 8.5 total so far! That 1st ten pounds is soooo close!!

Well I didn't weigh in today - we got back from a vacation in Florida late last night - I didn't eat terribly but definately ate more than I should so I'm not going to get on the scale if I see a gain even though I know it is justified I may lose my resolve to just get back to dieting so my next weigh in will be saturday

To all of you losers:

WEIGH TO GO!!! (get it...weigh not way)

Aghhh!!  I "treated" myself to buffalo wings last night!  I "rationalize" that they were acceptable since they weren't breaded and they were mostly all protein.  Shoot! But, thanks for the reality check!  So....I'll be waiting a few days before I weigh myself again!!!   ;)

Alright ladies!

I went for my weigh in today, and...Drum Roll Please!  I'm now at 169.6 lbs!  Down 14 lbs from my start date on Jan 4!  So I'm loosing an average of 2.33 lbs per week.   ;D  I'm down 5 inches in total, 1.5 from my chest, 2.5 from my waist, and 1 from the thunder thighs!  At this rate I'll be able to fit into that bikini I've been eyeballing in the Victoria Secrets Catalogue by my birthday!

Woo Hoo!!!  Let's keep this momentum going!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

Sooooooooooooo oo frustrated this morning (it's my weigh-in day) :'( :P :-X :-\

Started dieting and excersizing Jan 31...to date have lost 9 lbs (5lbs being in the 1st week) so I have had success. BUT, the last 2 weeks I haven't lost a single pound!!! >:( >:( >:( So upset this morning, I was just hoping for 1 friggin' pound!!! :'( :P ::)

Of course I'm happy that I didn't gain...but still...I haven't cheated and have been doing really, really good with sticking to everything...B AHHHHHHHHHHHHH H!!! >:( >:( >:(

But, this kind of thing seems to happen to me a lot. I've been dealing with "issues" again with my Mom and (go figure) I get stressed.  :-\ Harder to lose weight when your mind doesn't ever stop turning for two seconds I guess!  :-[

Anywho...on to the next week, hopefully it will be a better one!!! ;)

Sorry for all the negativity this morning, but I just had to get it out! ::)

I can definitely understand the stress eating!!

Don't forget to drink lots of water, Kate - that will help flush all the stuff out that is causing you to not be able to metabolize faster.

I am happy to say I am down 11.5 pounds as of this morning - even though I was pissed off last night and ate M&M Speck-tacular eggs for dinner.

CONGRATS to you...that is awesome!!! ;D

As for the stress eating...it's not that I'm eating because of stress, I just get in a "dumpy" sort of mood and it seems that my body reacts to that, by retaining more water or something...I dunno  ::)

And thanks for the water tip...I think that's where I've sort of been lacking lately to be honest. I am still nursing so always drink at least 6 glasses a day. I always have 1 cup of coffee every morning but lately (with the added stress) I've been having about 3 cups...which would totally dehydrate me, so must drink more H2O!!! ::) ::) ::)

Aghhhh!! I FELL OFF THE WAGON last weekend!!!!!

Ugh...Last Friday, a friend from CO flew in, so we all decided to go out!  I had just gotten home from work, and hadn't eaten dinner yet (let's count them...mistake numero uno!).  So, we headed out....after four bars and (ahem!) multiple beers later, we ended up at La Bambas!  For those of you that don't know what La Bambas is, it's a burrito place that I wouldn't consider even looking at if I'm even remotely sober....HOWEV ER, I proceeded to eat the entire burrito. Mind you, their slogan is "BURRITO'S AS BIG AS YOUR HEAD!!!"  Gulp!

Then, my husband's family came into town, which meant going to restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. By Sunday, I knew I had screwed everything up anyway, so we ordered pizza!!!!  AGH!!!

Needless to say, I was terrified to look at the scale on Monday.  Somehow, I only managed to gain 1.5lbs, which meant getting on the treadmill and eating like I actually had a brain for the rest of the week....

Now, I'm back on the wagon at 129.5lbs.....j ust 9.5lbs to go!

I went in to LA Wieghtloss the other day for a wiegh in.  I gained .4 lbs!  WAAAA!!!  It's that SeaFood Linguini I had on Saturday, I just know it!  Also I worked lots last week so didn't get my tread mill and Yoga/Pilates time in at all.  I was at 169.6 now 170.0.  Oh well.   :(

Just make sure you aren't drinking too much. I got in trouble at the doctor's the other day for drinking far too much water. I was averaging about 150-200oz per day. I know, I know, I just love water. Anyway, they asked me to cut my intake in half because drinking too much water can dangersouly lower your potassium which can lead to a heart attack.

I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be a worry wart. Just don't get excessively after it like I did!

Thanks Julie (I mean Mom  ;)) I appreciate your concern!!! :-* :-* :-*

What a rollercoaster ride it is. I'm off the wagon this week in a big way. On mondays weigh in I was down 2.4lbs for a total weight loss now of 12.4lbs. But since then I can't stop eating because I'm PMSing. I don't know how to control it either. I'm sure I'm going to be up god knows how much at the next weigh in. :(
