OMG Lin!!!! Aren't you in MI? ! ? ! ? ! They never/ever/never/ever show up here till at LEAST April! Usually not until the middle and that's just the Scout.

What a treat! And lovely picture.

Yeah spring! I'm in MI too, so that must mean that one of these days the snow will stop and the sun will shine and spring will actually arrive... ;)

We are having a horrible winter, aren't we.  there doesn't seem to be an end in sight.
i went out with the camera and am so uninspired because everything is white or closed.
i'm dying for a clear blue sky and a few pretty leaves and a defrosted lake...maybe some green under my feet.

I have the Cardinals, Blue Jays, Hawks, and a handful of other winder birds around. I'm just waiting to see my first robin then I know relief is on its way atleast within a month or so. I am sick and tired of shoveling snow :-\.

cheer because he found a job in this state.  that gives me hope that i will soon find one too.
I'm looking in Kalamazoo now since Grand Rapids is not doing well.  i get more call backs from the places in Portage than here.  so it looks like I'll be moving...just not too far.

Hi,

This is how I keep track of how close spring is.

http://www.hummingbirds.net/map.html

You just have to know there are flowers and small insects out when they arrive. They arrived in the Gulf a few days earlier than usual. Its fun to watch the progress north of the the ruby throated hummingbird.
