My pup has been licking his nose now for over 4 minutes...he is looking up and licking his nose and drooling like its going out of style...he isn't pukey...there is nothing in his mouth or on his nose....weird oh well.....
-
Perhaps you should stop putting peanut butter on it ;D Or am I the only one that has done that?
-
;D that is great....when i do give peanut butter, he opens his mouth and i rub it on the roof of his mouth... lol that is so funny......
If that was why that would be a good reason...i don't know why he is doing it..but whatever...i guess it is a Titan thing such a weirdo!!! ::) ;D
-
he has been doing it all day long, so i am going to take him to the vet...i also noticed that he has this balloon like thing on the elbow..perhaps just a padding from lying down....but the other elbow doesn't have it. So we go to the vet in 30 minutes
-
plus his licking isn't licking lips...it is licking the top of his nose like i put peanut butter on his tongue... He looks up at the sky...(actually he goes cross eyed) looking at his nose and licking with a 8 inch tongue.....i am sure it is nothing...but i need to have peace of mind...
-
So brining titan to the vet, his mouth and head is fine..but...we have a huge infection on his elbow from lying on hard surfaces. They have us on meds and cold compresses 3-5 times a day. He must lay on something soft if he is lying on the ground. He must have a cold area to lay on or the infection will keep coming back. Titan is such a knuckle head!!!

Glad you took him to the vet and he's getting his special treatments!

Ok so we have a hygroma, and i was reading about them. It says whatever you do don't drain it...and the vet did!!!!! Now what am i to do???? hopefully it won't become infected...oh well. He now weighs 175 pounds...he has gained 2 more pounds (we seem to be slowing down on the weight gain...)

These guys make great theraputic goods for hyrgromas & like maladies. http://www.dogleggs.com/files/hygroma.cfm

the best thing is that VPI covers them!!!!! I can't wait to get them now, i just have to talk to the main pooba(boss guy) and we will get them for free!!!! (of course after we front out the $$ first)

They made a "Hock Sock" for Voodoo (my Dane). She had a lick granulome on her rear leg the latter part of her life. It did a great job keeping her (and Duke) off it when I was not around and shortly after starting to wear it it looked much better than it had in some time.
