: New (ish?) Canadian Grain-Free Kibble.
: Lyn April 04, 2008, 12:31:13 PM
Since I've been thinking about rotating different foods, namely grain-free.. I found Horizon Legacy.. Ingredients look pretty good and it's made in Saskatoon Saskatchewan. Looks like decent competition for Orijen. ;)

It's available in Ontario now.. I'd definitely try rotating it in if I didn't have to go 45 minutes one way to get it.  :-\

Anyone tried this food? Or heard anything else about it?

I haven't tried it, but it's listed as a 6 star rated food on www.dogfoodana lysis.com, so it seems like it would be pretty good!  :)

Boston has been on this food for about 2 months and I've been very impressed. By far my favourite food for Boston. His coat is super shiney and hes had no gas on this food. I still like to rotate kibbles, but Legacy has become our staple food.

There is a store within 2km of my home. I'll drop by and take a look.

Sounds like a plan Liz. ;D Now I just need to talk my hubby into driving that far for dog food. I can just imagine his response. LOL

Thanks for the info List! Sounds like it's working well for Boston. I'm going to check with a couple stores locally and see if they can get it.
