For those who have to "get rid" of your pet, thank you for letting me take it off your hands...
I adopted your pet today...
The one you left at the pound;
The one you had for ten years
And no longer wanted around.
I adopted your pet today...
Did you know that he's lost weight?
Did you know he's scared and depressed
And seems to have lost all faith?
I adopted your pet today...
He had fleas and a little cold;
Guess you don't care what shape he's in
- You abandoned him I am told.
I adopted your pet today...
Were you having a baby or moving away?
Did you suddenly develop allergies,
Or was there NO reason he couldn't stay?
I adopted your pet today...
He doesn't play or even eat much;
I guess he's very sad inside and
It'll take time for him to trust.
I adopted your pet today...
And here he is going to stay;
He's found his FOREVER home
And a warm bed in which to lay.
I adopted your pet today...
And shall give him all that he will need
- Patience, love, and security,
So he can forget your selfish deed.

Puck was previously "looked after" ::) They had room to keep the female in the divorce but not him..Well they lost the most because we gained it all ;)
We kept his name because I never really thought that you could change a name with any success. After being here-- I now know better :)

Jolene the cat(Joe) was named by the vet. People dropped off her mom and all babies on the door step of the vet. We kept her name the same. We love her to bits she's a dog in a cats body. She rocks ;D
Harley was named by the SPCA. She was a stray, adopted, brought back after 3 days for destructive behaviour. What 9 month old lab doesn't like to chew? Anyway their loss our gain ;D We liked her name so we kept it. She gave us that sad puppy face and liked our hands through the cage. She won us over right then and there.
How can you not love this adorable face?

my great dane jazmine was called Azul. Which was fine, except i lived in a neighborhood with a lot of brazillians and the people thought i was being rude. So i changed her name to jazmine. My cat crystal was named Misha...sbut i just couldn't stand that name for her. So my hubby named jazmine and my dad named crystal... Titan was named before he was born.
Farkus the sharpei i watch, her name was ms. wrinkles before they changed it to Farkus...yuck i hate her name!
