I wish my in-laws would get another dog.  They had two chows for 13 years and they died within 3 years of one another.  My in-laws are in Lafayette.  I may just ask them  again and let you know if they say yes.  How close are you to Lafayette?

I'm about 1.5 hours from Lafayette. Actually, I'm perfectly between St. John parish and Lafayette.

Just talked to the MIL,  she said she will talk to FIL but she doesnt think he will agree to another dog.  He took it really hard when they lost Gypsy and Sheree'.
As soon as she calls me back I will let you know what they said.

Well, the FIL said no.  He doesnt want the responsibility .
I feel so bad for my MIL, so wants another dog.
