the breeder called me Friday to tell me that the pups were born! 3 boys and a girl. he is keeping the girl so I am getting a boy in 10 weeks!!! I am so excited! Let the countdown begin!!!

Awwww... I'm a sucker for Newf puppies. I'm trying to convince my husband that Rosie needs a sibling.

Rosie definately needs a sibling!!!! :) As for getting ready - I have an extra large crate already but I need to get a divider for it. Im also still looking for a raised feeder, although I guess lil bit wont need it right away. I can always use more toys, but I like taking the pup and letting them pick them out. Im sure Im not the only crazy lady in the aisle with toys on the floor saying "which one do you want?" and getting the one they go to first! (although I usually end up getting both!) As for names... The top 2 right now are Koa (sticks to my Hawaiian theme. Means strength) and Talon (as in an eagles talon -goes well with Timber) There is also Kalani which means heavenly one in Hawaiian. But IM afraid he'd end up being Lani and that sounds like a girl...But Im open to suggestions! Thoughts? oh wait - maybe I should name him Tangent (for those ladies who read that thread! ;))

I never think of Dogs as Talon. I named my old cat Talon.
I really like Koa. ;D
And yes I bring my pups to the store too to pick out a toy once in a while. lol

Not only do mine get to pick out toys at the store I also take them to yard sales and let them pick out stuffed animals. Annie especially likes them much better if she grabs one and thinks I didn't notice her walking around with it.
