: London_Pyr_Lover August 14, 2008, 09:01:51 AM
'Cause if you have been to one in the SW Ontario region lately you would have seen our cows take 1st in every single event they were entered into at the Ilderton Cow Show!

We took Premier Breeder
Grand Champion
as well as 1st in Class for every event!

Woo!  Go cows!

I'll post pics of the winning Bovines this weekend when I'm not at work or school.   :)

Holsteins - We've got about 200 head, and we milk about 75 of them.  :D

I don't really do anything in regards to the actual farming, but it's still he family farm so I thought I'd do a little bragging.  :D

She is probably a Jersey ..... My dream cow  ;D
Lots of cows (female) can have horns . Most are dehorned because they can be pretty nasty when calving and don't need any extra weapons !  :o

Yup, that sounds like a jersey, my dream cow as well........lo l.

I went to a cow show held at the state fair in MN last year.  We went for the horse show but watched the cows for awhile as well.  No breeds I was familiar with, alot of white cows with odd shaped heads, imho.  Wish I knew what they were.

Congrats on your wins!  Must be so exciting!
