Being a wonderful, crisp (no snow yet) Sunday morning, hubs decides to build a nice fire. The bubs are in their rightful place lying at the threshold of the front door fulfilling the number 1 dog rule: Must be under master's feet whenever possible.
He has to step over them with an armload of wood from the front porch. He makes a couple of trips stepping over them each time.
Later this afternoon, hubs goes down to watch football, the bubs are off romping on the hill (bad Sophie - she's obviously feeling better) and I go out to get more wood. This is what I found when I opened the door.
The wood is not chewed so it is not like they found a new chew toy. Were they helping??

How sweet! I don't think it was a coincidence. I think they were trying to help.

They were trying to pitch in. That's adorable! :)
