with the darkness floating all around from our beloved boys passing, we come with some good news...
If any of you remember the trip we took in November? Well, after a month of being anxious, we have confirmed today by ultrasound that our little Jigsaw is pregnant!
Here is a photo of Jigsaw and her husband, Cummins.

Aww, such happy news! And geez, is he gorgeous or what! When's the due date?

Due date is January 23rd (5 days before my birthday, what a wonderful present).
thank you for the comments, i wish nothing but the best with my little Jigsaw. that she stays healthy throughout this time. Thanks again :)

Jigsaw & Cummins will have the healthiest, most beautiful puppies ever. The puppies will have a very special way of helping to fill the emptiness Memphis left behind.
They are truly a beautiful couple.
Can't wait to see their children!

she hasn't, actually. shes pointed, but not finished. the stud is leaving the country, so he wont be able to be used again for about 2 years- but jigs was fully health tested, heart, liver, kidneys Normal :)

Congrats on your prospective litter! I don't see a problem on breeding before completing a championship. If its a good cross its a good cross. If the timing is right and all else is good to go better to go with a live cover. AI, particularly in maiden bitches, actually has a pretty high failure rate- more so than a live cover.

YAY! Jiggs and Cummins look wonderful together! I'm so excited for you! Cummins looks so smug, I love it! Can't WAIT until she has the pups, I can't WAIT for the pics!! eeeeek i'm so giddy for the happy couple! ;D

Wow - Cummins is quite the handsome, well, Stud. :D I can't wait to see puppy pics. I'm already imagining the markings. Puppies - puppies - puppies - can't get enough puppies!! I bet Jigsaw will be the best mommy.

well, ultrasound has confirmed by showing us ONE pup. and so if its show quality, yes we are keeping. if we decide not to, it goes to the stud owner. and if she doesnt want it, then we sell it and the money goes to the stud owner. So much work just to use the most wanted dog in canada eh ;) but we are hoping there is more hiding, the ultrasound tech didnt do a very good job i dont think. But im no expert. LOL
With jigsaws color (white with brindle) and Cummins being a red/white we are expecting anything from whites, brindles, reds and tri color...

thank you all. We are excited for our first "puzzled" litter. Grandpa is Rufus, winner of Westminster a few years back... if you remember him.

JMNSHO, but I think health testing is MUCH more important than a championship. "CH"s are not the be all and end all of breeding. Actually sometimes it seems that ONLY breeding for championships is turning many breeds into caricatures of what they were intended to look like. I mean, look at a lot of the AKC Ch. German Shepherds, some of them make me want to cry. English Bulldogs come to mind too.
Jiggs was shown and is now pointed, which shows that she does represent what a Bull Terrier should look like. Also, I do believe that Jo has a lot of mentors in the bully world. If she were going to be irresponsible, she could've just not neutered Zero after she had him health tested and then thrown him and Jiggy together. Obviously, this was a well thought out decision.
I too am surprised by some of these remarks. Congrats Jo on your upcoming litter. I can't wait to see all the little piggies. *hugs*
