I was looking at Dane puppies, very bad LOL, and the breeder I have always liked has an awesome Mantle puppy for sale, to show. He is just a doll, born on the 29th of July. I was bad and emailed her about him, and she replied with more pictures of him. Now i come here for you guys to tell me I dont need another Dane because Mr. Grey is only 8 months old. Oh how I wish you could freeze them to be little a little longer then they are.

They are but I need to remember that big ole Ox, Mr. Grey, I own is still a PUPPY!! What makes it bad is I have always wanted a Mantle dane to Show, and this is from the breeder I always wanted one from LOL

I got mine within 6 months of eachother. it's good cuz we'll only have 2 years of puppyhood not 4. :) get it over with i figure. It's a lot of fun! Chaotic but fun.

GET THE DANE GET THE DANE! Its the opportunity your looking for, the color is perfect, the breeder is perfect and you have one already so what is one more? Shoot Nina is right you are asking the wrong bunch.... no wait I take that back you are asking the correct bunch. Because we understand BIG DOGS and know the work involved, and chances are were much alike and can handle the work load. I would get the dane if I were you. ::)
Ohhh come on and get the dane already! lol keep us posted.

Only having two kids seems like having 6 for some reason & having two puppies at the same time really isn't much more work than having one...You only live once...get the pup & kick the hubby out! :D

EVERYBODY is right! Get the puppy! It will be hectic (okay...crazy hectic for six months!!~!) Then, the older puppy will help train the younger puppy. You've already said he's everything you want!!! We're all cheering you on!!!

Grace has learned a lot from Lady. Lady learns some stuff from Grace. but being so close in age I think is a good idea. they look out for eachother.
I'm going to go ahead and say: "Get the puppy!" you'll kick yourself if you don't"

Oh I agree mantles are the best ;D My husband says he needs to think about it, cause we are trying to move to Vermont, from Texas, and he says we will have a hard enough time with 2 big dogs, one being a Rottweiler. he is not sure how we will be able to move with 2 Great danes, a Rottweiler, and a Chihuahua. Chances are we will have to rent. So as of right now, it is "We will see" but here are more pictures LOL

Blair, there is no way that I'm going to tell you "NO". Especially if y'all are moving up here and that means Tenchi will have TWO more dane friends to play with! ;)

Well, I can tell you my husband said the same thing to me. We are moving next spring back to the midwest, and might have to rent. But that did not stop me from getting my beautiful guy anyway.
I wish I could get another. All these pictures are killing me. Financially wise, though I know I can't right now, plus the fact that my husband would kill me............ ..and the fact that where we live now only allows two dogs.

I say you just get it. lol. My hubby told me no way yesterday, but he loves dogs, so we could end up with yet another one. haha!

If you are going to have a hard time finding a place anyway you might as well get what you want. Chances are if a place will accept more than 2 dogs, with one being a large Rott and another being a huge dane, then the place will probably not have any limits.
I say things happen for a reason. So, whatever your husbands decides will turn out great for you in the end. If he says yes, that one is obvious. But if he says no, then an even more perfect dog for you is around the corner.

I just showed up from a trip with Sanity in the car. Matt was like "HI HOney I missed you! What is that? Is that a dog? Dammit is that one of those ugly Dane dogs? ARGH IT IS!!!!!!!!"

Jenn - I'm with you. If I see a dog on the side of the street, hubby tries to speed up so I won't rescue it!

Tried to rescue a dog at the side of a busy road right by the forest preserves, but couldn't get near it. It took me 20 minutes of crashing thru the poisen ivy to get close enough to realize I was trying to rescue a coyote...DUH!!!
