I am not a wine person. How long does it stay good in the refrigerator and what does it taste like if it's too old?

I didn't do the mulled wine. I thought it sounded good but my daughter wanted to do Christmas at her house this year and it got kind of hectic. She cooked a turkey and several other dishes, but I ended up taking a ham, squash casserole, 4 folding chairs, and a trunk full of gifts over to her house. I never got around to it.

Open or unopened bottle? If it's unopened, go for it, if not, I'd say cook with it.

And DO try mulled wine, it's a great cold weather drink :)
