: When to take them on an actual walk?
: NewfFan March 18, 2009, 09:07:57 AM
Daisy is 12.5 weeks today, and does great on the leash (she just naturally isn't a puller). We've been down the street (it's about 1 tenth of a mile, so not much at all) and back just a couple times. When can I start taking her on actual walks, of let's say a half of a mile, or a mile? I like to walk our Mini Aussie about 3-4  miles a day, but thought I could start taking Daisy with us for a half of a mile-to a mile, double back, drop her off, and continue with the Aussie. Does this sound ok?

Sounds great all, we'll start our first REAL walk tomorrow! :D

Esther, thank you, I like her myself. Now, can we PLEASE have some Koda pics?
